Amazing RESTORATION of a TEAL PAINTED Mid-Century Coffee Table

- I found this teal painted Mid-Century Beaucraft coffee table on the Facebook Marketplace and knew it needed a restoration. In this video I will do my best to remove the teal paint from the surface and restore the finish to its original look. This is easily my favorite restoration project yet.

I absolutely love how you took it apart and sanded every inch of this piece.
At the end it was like a piece straight off the showroom floor. Beautiful job!
The only thing I didn't care for was the stain color.
I tend to avoid anything with even a hint of an orangey tone.
OH MY GOSH... finally someone taking the paint OFF and restoring it to it's natural Glory.

I think it's teak!❤
It looks like Burmese teak. I would have used a finish of half raw linseed oil and half mineral spirits. I have a Hans Olsen roundette dining set and that's how I'm refinishing it.
That was a striking shade of teal, lol!!

Nice work, nice work. Wood appears to be teak. Very common on MCM, especially Danish Modern pieces.

Sometimes people own wood furniture that they dont know how to take care of. Painting it, in that case, saves it from landfill🤷♀️

Woah friend, you did an incredible job! Just, wow. I think this table may be rosewood 🧐, it was so dark when it was coming through when you were stripping it-and in that case I would list in the upper $$$. Side note, the way you keep your workspace so neat and tidy is seriously impressive 👏
