I have two technical questions:
1. I see you are placing that pogo stick base on the tire, not on the rim. Why is that? Is it ok to place it on the rim with like a piece of wood in between?
2. Bmw E46 rear wheel arch - is the metal there (thickness/strength) same as in this Honda or a lot stronger? I wonder if the stock is enough…

Took the wheel off and used body hammer to straighten the inner wheel house.

Would you do this on a classic restoration, like a car from the 70s or 80s? I found a 1983 Ford Escort 2 door hatchback I want to buy and restore, and it has rear wheel well damage on both rear fenders. Any thoughts?

Those rear quarter panels are really tough to work on. Sometimes you can make them look better

It all depends where you live you would have to call around to get an estimate
