You always do such a good job of breaking down every key point. Most tutorials I see say something like “bottom turn, and snap.” But you do an awesome job, love your vids!
Thank you so much Mia!! I try make my tutorials the best on the internet because I grew up watching those useless ones that didn’t help me at all 😂 I really appreciate the support 🙏🏽
Thanks for sharing Gabe and yeah FS is harder cause you have to turn behind yourself whereas on your BS you’re turning the way you’re already facing. Stoked the video helped and thank you so much for the support 🙏🏽🙌🏽
ANT! The multiple views make your tutorials so unique! Please keep them coming! Question: what’s the difference between a re-entry and a snap on steep wave face?
Thank you for watching to the end and for the kind words bro!! Regarding your question, the surfing world has completely stuffed up when naming tricks. I think if you look it up it says a re-entry is in the lip, a snap is on the face… but it’s literally the same move so I’ve stopped saying the word re-entry altogether… I just call them snaps haha
so helpful been on the lookout for a good snap tutorial but most are super long and i can’t be bothered watching but this was short and sweet and just what i was looking for🙌
Awesome tutorial! Really appreciate all the little details you put in the vid. I'am working on backside snaps - so looking forward to the next one. I don't comment much - your vids are really high quality and this one was special. I am pretty sure when I subscribed you had under 1000 subs... congratulations how you developed your channel! ANT
Wow man that’s so awesome! Thank you so much for the kind words and for supporting me since the early 🙏🏽 it seriously means a lot. I’m the exact same with other creators I rarely comment 😂 I really appreciate it legend and thank you for making it to the end 🙏🏽🐜
So helpfull.. Im quite a good surfer.. I do good front and backside carves, floters, cutbacks but I've strugled with the front side snap my hole life.. Realy well explained man... Thanks... ANT
I’m so glad I could help and so stoked you found the video helpful 🙏🏽 keep ripping it up and I’d be keen to hear how you go out in the water!! And thank you for watching to the end legend! 🙌🏽
Thanks Noah! I’ve learned the frontside snap just from slowing UA-cam videos of good surfers and trying to replicate their movement, the frontside snap has weirdly been the hardest thing to get down for me, on the backside I nailed it pretty quickly and don’t even think about it anymore whereas I always mistime the frontside. I will test this out in the water, but I will now focus on the back foot pivoting the board before I transition to the front of the board and also know the timing. Appreciate it brah 🤙 Ant
My pleasure bro!! That’s a really smart idea. And yeah I think backside turns are easier as you’re pushing forwards (where you’re already facing/looking) so on FS turns it’s like going behind you. Thank you for the kind words and sharing the story bro and I appreciate you watching to the end! Go smash some snaps yeww ⚡️
I've been surfing for about a year and your pov vids and tutorials have been so helpful cause I can only get down to the beach once a week. Definitely the best surf channel on youtube. Keep up the great work noz. Ant 🏄🏄🤙🤙

It is my pleasure! I’ve said it before but almost all the surfing tutorials on the internet suck. Thanks so much for the support let’s get it 💪🏽⚔️
Yeww thanks so much Chloe!! You’re already killing it. Hopefully it helps take them to the next level rocket 🚀 And thank you so much as always for watching to the end 🐜🐜
Sounds like something to do with your setup before the snap. Maybe a lack of speed? Try and get some video footage of you. Probably the best way to learn what you’re doing
Je remarque que les trucks sont dans le sens opposé d'un skate classique.est ce pour avoir une courbe plus rapide et une sensation qui se rapproche plus du surf?
Thank you so much! It’s a tricky one with the arms… I like to forget about them and just focus on pushing/weighting and unweighting my feet. Then the arms naturally do their job
So glad to hear that legend!! Yes super common. Try keeping that back arm over your toeside rail (like you’re going for a FS grab) and keeping that chest over your knees and you should stick all of them 🙌🏽
Thank you so much legend!! Always try to make them the best I can 🙌🏽 there’s still such a lack of good surf tutorials on the internet… I’m trying to fill the hole 😂🙌🏽
Okay so I’m a pretty good surfer and do nice snaps and turns.
