We must have been there at the same time! We missed the blossom as well! But we will go back I'm sure!

Probably were! We were there end of March into the first week of April, so we actually did end up seeing some blossoms by the time we left. Always good to have an excuse to go back!

What fun 1st day in Tokyo, those donuts looked amazing, so did the ramen, so did the ice cream and everything else. Loved the light show on the building how fun!!

This looks like a fun first day in Tokyo! You you saw and did so many things! Love the food, the arcades, and I'm sorry the cherry blossoms aren't yet out. Hopefully you can see some later.

Wow you had some great timing for the blossoms. The Tori gate looked very cool. Look at all those sake barrels. I have heard traditionally the person that made the sake would have to wake up every few hours to turn the rice or whatever. lol. What a beautiful shrine. It also didn’t look to busy. Honey vending machine? So cool. Haha I’m donut. Love Japanese titles and sayings. Like why is there a question mark? lol looks like a lot of filling. I am a big fan of Hayao Miyazaki so I would be on a lookout for something spirited away. Oh ramen would be great. Wow that broth looked really good. Gosh that crossing looks so crazy. I have it on my google map list. And the hachiyo as well. Loved that movie. Great day in Tokyo. 🎉✌️ I would totally check out vending machines

The key to a lot of places in Tokyo to avoid crowds is to get there early which was the case with the shrine.
We were wondering that too about the donuts. It’s like they’re questioning themselves if they’re actually donuts. 🤔
If you love Miyazaki, you’re going to love some upcoming Studio Ghibli themed videos we have coming up!
Still dreaming about that ramen. The broth was so flavorful. 😍 So cool you’re a fellow Google map user. We use that religiously when planning trips. Thanks so much for watching!

Really nice photography in your video! For viewers please remember to carry a small plastic bag for your small daily trash and dispose at your hotel as there are almost no trash cans in the public. Japanese do the same and dispose at home. Learn about the culture as well as your destinations. Tokyo is HUGE, so stay busy but don't put too much into any one day.

Yes, great note! Trash cans are very rare and difficult to come across. We carried our trash in our backpack back to our hotel. We’d love to do a tips and tricks video for Japan because there’s just so many little things to keep in mind. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

End of March! It was super busy, especially because this video was on a Sunday.

I’m going in July. Never knew about the bees and honey, so I have now added getting honey from the vending machine of my things to do. Thank you very much😊

Can’t you download Purikura photos by scanning the QR code shown in the video with an iPhone?

Yes you can! But by the time we realized it, the QR code expired. They’re only good for a week.
