He is one of the greatest centers the game has ever seen an unremarkably special. He's breaking Kareem scoring records, he's tracking for his 3rd straight scoring title. A fierce rim protector. Bad injury luck and a poor playoff history has taken over his narrative, but if he was able to do his thing. If it all combined for one run, then it would make it so much easier for him to be appreciated and celebrated until he retired. One of the greatest bigs I have ever seen. He's a 7 foot shooting guard with a fluid handle.

Guys, this may be the year the guy makes noise in the post season. Theres no harden to infect him with quitting disease. There's no Ben Simmons to completely freeze in the halfcourt and free throw line. There's no shake/furk/thybulle/horford conglomerate that somehow is actually worse than having ben Simmons on the floor. But even if they suffer some epic collapse yet again that does not mean anything with regards to regular season mvp.

Brett Brown wouldn't looked awhile lot better if he didn't have a complete enigma of a roster starting with a pg that couldn't operate in the half court. I think both are missing what the other one has. Jokic is a big defender while Embiid isn’t a big playmaker like jokic

Its 82 games for mvp, no playoffs. And it is quite the opposite, usually embiid starts of super slow. This year he only needed one game to heat up. As for the playoffs you can't do it until u do it. Lots of guys couldn't break through in the post season until they did. Maybe its this year, but that doesn't have anything to do with the mvp
