Embiid has 5 games under 25 pts all year, giannis 10 & Jokic 30!!Last time a Center averaged 30ppg was 1982. Only 3 Centers ever to average 30ppg more than once McAdoo, Wilt, and Kareem. Only member in the history of the ba in the 50/10/5/5 club. Hes got more blocks, steals & pts than both. More 40pt & 50pt games than both. Harden & Maxey both missed a month straight & Sixers still had the best record in the league over the span they were out. Sixers still were only 2 games back of the 1 seed despite 2 of 3 best players missing a full month straight. All of this is on Embiids shoulders. For those who say he didnt earn it, he single handedly almost won the 1 seed in the entire NBA on his own.

I love Joel but he lost plenty of respect and in essence the M.V.P. award when he sat out against Jokic in Denver. That was his opportunity to stomp Jokic out the conversation and stamp his name on the trophy. Instead of giving us the rare head to head position matchup that we’ve all been looking forward to, he CHOSE to rest on that previous games laurels and leave that as his last impression against the 2 time M.V.P. A weak move in my opinion and no matter what he does since then he gave the award away. The MVP of the league can’t be ducking ANYONE! Least of all your main competitor for the award!

No he’s not. He’s a dominant offensive center who has Reggie to mid Defense. How many dominant centers averaged less than 2 blocks per game in their early years/prime???? Not a lot. Shaq in the 98-99 season at the age of 26 is all I could find. Embiid is a great rebounding and offensive player. He lets opposing teams make it to conserve energy on offense, imo. 2nd or 3rd place for MVP, mid to lower top 10 defensively.

And yes, the media is literally being biased as heck with Embiid because they kiss his @$$ and feel sorry for him.
