In the entrepreneurial world, certain misconceptions can hinder your success and growth. Let's debunk seven common myths that could be holding you back:
    1. Hold on to 100% of Your Equity: Many believe that retaining full ownership is the best strategy. However, sharing equity can bring in valuable partners and investors who can help your business grow.
    2. Businesses Attached to Personal Brands Don't Sell: Contrary to popular belief, businesses with strong personal brands can be highly attractive to buyers, as they often come with a loyal customer base.
    3. There Are No Entrepreneurial Opportunities Left: Some think all the good ideas are taken, but innovation is limitless. New opportunities arise with changing markets and technologies.
    4. If You Build It, They Will Come: Simply creating a product or service isn't enough. Effective marketing and understanding your target audience are crucial to attracting customers.
    5. Avoid Failure at All Cost: Fear of failure can paralyze your efforts. Embrace failure as a learning experience that can lead to improvement and eventual success.
    6. Keep Your Business Ideas to Yourself: Keeping your ideas secret can prevent valuable feedback and potential partnerships. Sharing your vision can lead to collaboration and refinement of your concept.
    7. Work by Yourself, Don't Get a Team: Going solo might seem cost-effective, but a diverse and skilled team can provide different perspectives and help manage various aspects of your business more efficiently.
Understanding and addressing these misconceptions can pave the way for a more successful and sustainable business journey. Watch our video to learn more!

Another amazing video. Holding tight to equity is a big one. A few entrepreneurs I've run into lately are caught in this trap, and it puts a strange hold on growth capability. I love the ideas point, too. Ideas are ten a penny.

I can relate to most of the misconceptions because I probably watched all your UA-cam videos😅. But I like the demand creation then supply idea.

Holding on to 100% equity and not talking about your idea. This has been a turn around.

As always, super useful. To your last point... 75% of all your views come from UA-cam itself, not form Subscribers. Were you really surprised about that?

Creating demand via a waiting list - is there a template?

Curious to know if you’ve any thoughts on Virtual Production, operating between the live events, broadcast and film production industries. I run a creative content studio and am interested in setting up a VP studio, yes it requires significant investment (high 6 figures just to cover the equipment, then premises, then specialist staff) however it’s still a new competitive space, there are literally no such studios in my region but in other places they are booming.
