@user-sq5kr9zs9b from what I can see on the function list, it depends on the market. It looks like it's supported for the US market, but not in many others. I'd say you reach xtool to confirm.

Can you do a reset on a ECU without causing any problems with the engine .I have a 2005 Nissan Altima with a 2.5 engine .. I have the newest version 2023 with the all newest up versions XTOOL D7 thank you you have an awesome show

What would happen if you hit the ECU if you hit by accident reset what does that do does that cause any problems?

D7S is more recent and is faster since it has better hardware. If budget is not an issue, I'd get the D7S.
Can this do coding for a replacment (used) SAM unit on a Mercedes? It looks like a powerfull tool for the money.
Definitely good value for the money. For the SAM unit question, it'll be best to reach out to tech support, I haven't personally tried coding the SAM unit.

I have bmw and benz. Although the one im seeing in amazon supports benz,’itsubishi,skoda and volks.
And there are 2 price points for d7
Ofcourse the newer d7 2024 would have that but if i buy the older model and update it will i have the same functions as the 2024? Thanks
Always better to go with the newer version in my opinion. The updated old one will definitely have all the software updates. Only limitation will be in the hardware/firmware.

I live in UAE i got 4 cars to play with 3 bmw 1 toyota. Im just a DIY guy who likes to learn about my car.
D7 cost 1000aed to 1200aed due to the sale in amazon or ali express
D7s is around 2000 aed to 2400aed
Launch crp 919xbt is 1700aed to 2200aed
Im leaning towards the d7 and just get update as shown in your video those are the things i wish to change the 120km beeping, door auto lock, ac that always on during ignition.

I just watched a video why a massive drop on the price of d7 is because of the newer d7s/d7w. And the shipping cost from china to uae i guess.

My d7 cant find wifi or bluetooth special function page compleyely dissappeared..and cant find my vehicle ....mmm

How is the support for a modern 2020+
Subaru?
While I don't have a Subaru to do a Che k with, on the bare tool I was able to see that Subaru is supported up to 2022. XTOOL's site lists various systems and test supported but doesn't triangulate those with year. You could email support for more clarity.
Hi i am from Saudi Arabia I received the D7 today and I tried to update it but it showing out of range i can’t do the update 😢what does it mean.?
You probably need a VPN
