Greetings from Scotland !!! Lovely video, really enjoyed watching your journey. I did the Three Passes in 2023, and Annapurna Circuit in 2022 ……. my first visits back to the Nepal Himalaya since the early 1990’s. Wonderful that you ‘crushed’ your trek, and hope it inspires y’all to do more. Namaste, bro ❤❤❤
so happy that I ll be embarking on a trek to everest base camp from 17th of November as a glacier researcher. I am from karakoram, pakistan. so excited for Mount Everest trekking.
Thank you for sharing this excellent video of your trek. Absolutely stunning views. I am planning to trek 3 High Passes in 2024 so this was extremely helpful.
Doing the hike from Jiri to EBC and 3 Peaks and then back to Jiri. Jiri is the original route of climbers and it avoids the planes. It adds a lot of time (6 day hike from Jiri to Lukla and then another 6 back) but that stretch is quiet and avoids the crowds.
Excellent work!! I really liked the way you focused on the animals and the religious icons along the way. Nice mix of photos and video. Very beautiful. I’m looking forward to your next travel documentary with Steve.
Wow, breathtaking views! Congratulations! And, thanks for the zero commercials & stopping by for the doggies along the trail. Will you be doing the Annapurna Circuit Trek as well?
It is such a good hike. Did it just over a month ago. I'd jump on a plane right now to go do it all again. Interesting you did Kala Patthar in the afternoon? I did it early morning, 3am start, was bitterly cold, but the sunrise over everest was awesome.
Thank you for this great movie! I start my trip on 2. November to three pass treks. May I ask you which cam you use for these great films? Greats from Austria, Markus
Amazing dude! The scenic view is just out of this world... Makes me wanna plan a trip there sometime soon. A quick question, what would the budget look like?
I was there this fall, but solo, no guide. You do not need one. I spent about 50$ per day, with a bit more luxury than these two. Room: 4$ (simple) ... 30$ (deluxe). Food: breakfast and dinner 10$ each, lunch (a soup) 5$, but not every day. Internet 5,5$ per 24 h. Charging a 10.000 mAh power bank 5...8$. - The flight from/to Lukla is about 200$ per direction. - Kathmandu: my hotel was 50$/night, but a hostel bed would be 10$.
Awesome video, thanks. Doing the trek next month. A couple questions. Did you get any permits in Kathmandu or were you able to get them once underway from Lukla? How much money did you need along the trek?
@@rorycourt I know! I did EBC back in 2019 and now i wanna come back to the 3 passes trek with a friend. now another question: is your backpack 55 litres or 60? that do you recommend? how hard was the trek? like really really hard, the hardest in your life or "yeah, hard but you can do it with a lot of training"? thanks a lot for your reply, dude! amazing video! ;-)
@@alejandroandresberman8781 Why do you need such a large backpack? - I just came back 4 weeks ago, had 50l but could have used less. You do not carry food, only few water, no tent. I did it clockwise, was slower, but had to omit Kongma La and Chukung Ri because my Khumbu cough got worse, and I wanted to go back to a warmer place. BTW I am in my 60s, no guide, no porter. Kilimanjaro summit night was harder.
@@rorycourt hey, where did you pick the guide ? Any license for guide ? What is the price ?Appreciate if you are generous to share his contact. Thanks in advance
Meine Nichte hat mit meiner Mutter den Manaslu Trip gemacht. Seitdem interessiere ich mich für den Himalaya. Tolle Aufnahmen! Danke!

Hello Brett Sinclair, i did it from Jiri old first itinary for 3 weeks: Fantastic!
hi. beautiful vlog. may i know which camera did you use to shoot the footage?
Excellent video! What month did you do the trip in? Also, what sort of camera gear did you bring?
November! Canon R5 with two lenses, 16-35 and 70-200. Definitely could take far less if weight is a concern :)
Amazing dude! The scenic view is just out of this world... Makes me wanna plan a trip there sometime soon. A quick question, what would the budget look like?
$1500 to 3000 USD depending on your length of stays

Beautiful journey man just lovely and how Amy days it took for these three pass ?
We did it in 16 days.
@@rorycourt thanks buddy 👍🙏😁
Hi Rory
Amazing video. Could you please share associated company name for this trek?
Hi guy, When did you start trek?
Which month was this?
Did you do this with guie / porter? how hard was it? Regards from Argentina! ;)
We had a guide but no porters, carried our own gear. Both one of the most difficult and most rewarding things I’ve done!
