3 Days in the Canadian Backcountry with my Best Friend
I spent a week in the rockies with my best friend, who I've been on many adventures with. On this trip we planned to return to two stunning spots we've been before, but unfortunately weather had other plans for us.
Luckily, we were able to snag a reservation for Egypt Lake campground for two nights and explore the area while disconnecting from society for three days.

In September, 2024, three friends and I decided to hike to the Skoki Valley and summit Skoki mountain for expansive views of one of Banff's most underrated areas. We were treated to incredible sunrise views and some of the most golden larches I've ever seen. Enjoy!

Rory Court (Black/Ice Dogs #20) in his performance vs. the Fort Frances Lakers. Rory was instrumental in both ends of the ice scoring 2G, 2A and recording a plus 4 rating. Rory was dominant in the face off circle and made some key shot blocks on penalty kills towards the end of the game to help his team to a 4-1 victory.

Love the video and the editing. I think at times the transitions could be snappier around quieter times of the trek, around camp etc. The walking and landscape shots are beautiful but audio too loud and distracts you from the experience. Same can be said for when you and your friends are talking. Great work though and I’ll continue to enjoy the content, keep grinding fist 👊🏽

Doing the hike from Jiri to EBC and 3 Peaks and then back to Jiri. Jiri is the original route of climbers and it avoids the planes. It adds a lot of time (6 day hike from Jiri to Lukla and then another 6 back) but that stretch is quiet and avoids the crowds.

$1500 to 3000 USD depending on your length of stays
I was there this fall, but solo, no guide. You do not need one. I spent about 50$ per day, with a bit more luxury than these two. Room: 4$ (simple) ... 30$ (deluxe). Food: breakfast and dinner 10$ each, lunch (a soup) 5$, but not every day. Internet 5,5$ per 24 h. Charging a 10.000 mAh power bank 5...8$. - The flight from/to Lukla is about 200$ per direction. - Kathmandu: my hotel was 50$/night, but a hostel bed would be 10$.

It is such a good hike. Did it just over a month ago. I'd jump on a plane right now to go do it all again. Interesting you did Kala Patthar in the afternoon? I did it early morning, 3am start, was bitterly cold, but the sunrise over everest was awesome.
We wanted to see sunset light on Everest!
