- And I’m BACK! I was SO sick with whatever nasty virus has been making its rounds, but I’m happy to say that I’m fully recovered and back to making videos - woohoo! In this week’s episode, the Minelab Manticore absolutely slays at a site that we’ve hunted for years… old coins, artifacts, you named it… ALL of the usual suspects made an appearance for the first time in hundreds of years! Hey Stef just got over that crud also. 2 weeks with it. Only got out onece in that time period and payed for it. Got out today found a Nice Token and Chinese Coin. Congrats on the Copper and IHP. Sorry to hear you were so sick! I was still recovering from a respiratory virus on my New England trip - I never want to catch one of those again! The tombac button was stunning! 😍 It was great to see a new video from you pop up and I hope you're fully recovered now! ❤

Cool finds Stef. As for the burnt coins. Don't forget one side of main street Burnt down years ago.
Oh, no kidding! I actually didn’t know that. It’s weird - without giving too much away for other viewers lol, these are the fields next to the skinny cornfield, the spot where you said Kevin found a silver cross. One of the fields (that was covered in brush before it was mowed sometime last Summer) produces burnt coins and melted lead. The other field through right next to it (same site) didn’t have any burnt relics or coins, everything was either in good condition or just had typical fertilizer-induced corrosion. I’m wondering if one of those fields was just burnt many years ago for the sake of clearing brush? Not a clue. 🤷♂️ The burnt stuff is further back from Main Street than the stuff that was in decent shape. 😂

Holy Tombac Button!! That thing is beautiful. Do you mind sharing the Manticore settings you are using?
Thank you! In the video I was using ATLC, sensitivity 22, recovery speed 5, 2 region all tones, audio = normal, audio theme = simple. I don’t believe I used the stabilizer that day, but I will sometimes set it on 4 or so.
