I love it when my kids have been with me doing field work, now they are getting old enough to drive tractor on their own, still fun for me teaching them.
Doesn't look to bad out how much do you have planted. Looks like the copilot has pretty good patience he must love being with you! Thanks for the video!!!!!!!
Thanks Gary. All the corn is in and just have a couple fields left of soybeans to plant. I love when my little guy rides with me. I gotta try some of your maple syrup!
That's about the same size disc we have :) glad you can get on those fields, many here might just be giving up. . . Will be lucky to be ankle high by 4th of july :(
I love the job that disk does. That's sad to hear they are giving up. I feel very lucky we have all our corn in. I hope the rain stops soon so we can start hay
Looks like the field worked up pretty good, looks like powder in a few places. Are you at a little higher elevation in your area compared to where I am in northern NY? There is very little if anything planted up here, I don't know what some farmers are going to do. Even if it does dry out soon, they will be in to hay chopping season. I see you have a creek next to that field you worked, do you guys ever go fishing there?
I would say northern New York is higher elevation with all the mountains up that way. I'm not sure though. Hopefully guys can get in the field and get something in. That's scary not being in the field yet. That's a river right there but I don't fish
Great video again sir. Y’all are very fortunate and blessed to have that much field work done
We feel very fortunate to have a much done as we do. When we finally get a dry day we are out there as much as we can be

Its gonna be a proud day when he is older and I can send him out on his own in the tractor!
The stuff memories are made of.. looks great
Thank you. Hopefully my little guy enjoys these memories
Great video Mike
Thanks James. How are things across the pond?
Funny how that dull hum of the engine is more effective than lullabies for kids
I know. I used to do the same thing as a kid.
Great vid looks good 👍 😀
Thank you!
Sometimes the tractor puts me to sleep too! LOL
Lol especially after a long day!

Looks good mike, June 1’st and I still can’t work my fields a few hrs east of you. Horrible spring
I'm sorry to hear that. Where about are you located? Does it look like you will be able to get out there any time soon?
training the son early that's awesome.
Thanks. Growing up the way I did!
@@mikep7810 One day that boy will look back with fond memories of those days!
@@danlowery3235 I really hope so!

Is a mold board plow better for helping with water infiltration than a chisel plow?
I would say a chisel plow would be better for that
