60 years old fart here. What a band this was/is! Great stuff.... telling what is going on in todays life. Alex Turner for me is one of the best lyricist from the last 20 years.

Watching this in 2021 is like the perfect Arctic concert for me. I love this phase of them and that's what I've listen to when I was 16, now with 27 Of course I enjoy their new albums too, but these tunes are magical for me.
Leave Before is one of their perfect songs!!!

The first time I got into the Pinkpop festival! Greatest band that had a great impact on my childhood! 2007 was the best year for music!
What I would give to hear A Certain Romance. Don’t think they have ever played it out here in the U.S. One day I’ll make it to one of these festivals where they headline. That is of course, if they bring it back in their rotation.

They definitely did on their first US tour waaaaay back in ‘06 when I saw them at ‘The Tabernacle’ in ATL, and they played it then. Was such a great gig.
I like this performance a whole lot. It didn't sound as cheery or energetic as the crowds in bigger gigs, sure, but I'm certain it's mostly due to them muting the sound. The way the crowd sang along to Balaclava at the start of the show was really cool (underrated track!) and the occasional shots of the crowd captured almost all of them singing along to the songs. An underappreciated live gig.

Alex Turner is possibly the Best and most Realistick songwriters i've ever heard,..fantastic band with great musicians and great lyrics,..i think writing about the real world,.such as reebock classics and scraps with pool cues is much more relatable to than the fake yachts ,..private jets,..etc etc half these rappers write about,..lol,..awesome band,..can't put a foot wrong for me now,..i'd love to go see them live..
