So I don’t get this video. Prices are almost exactly the same for every top card? Charizard still over 110.. blastoise and Venusaur still over 40. Zapdos and alakazam still over 30. Charmander , bulbasaur and squirtle still between 20 and 30. There’s been almost no change in the last few months since release . How can you have made a video a few months ago saying it’s great and now make a video saying it’s bad and nothing has changed ? In fact sealed price on everything is up. They seem to be slowly trickling stuff out over time so far, Costco got upcs, target got bundles, etc. This is the most popular set of the last 2 years, has never been out of stock truly and prices are all holding in same range. So why is it no longer a good investment? Why is the value gone ?
Agreed. All these cards are keeping steady value. Despite everyone saying they can find it everywhere I can’t find it anywhere. Will it get reprinted? 100% I think so. But unless we get a really strong set at the same time it’ll get gobbled up VERY quickly.
Also psa 10 prices are very nice on this cards as they’re all hard to grade

Yeah I don’t understand comparing this to sets that just came out when you know prices are going to drop. Also I’d like to know what evolving skies prices were at less than a year after release.
Yea really not getting this take. I just looked and counted because I was confused, and paradox rift , paldea evolved and temporal forces all have about 18 cards over 10 dollars. 151 has 22. So it’s beating every set in scarlet and violet as far as depth.
Looking to buy some 151’s for a bit of fun. Can anyone recommend whether I buy the ETB or a Booster box?

I thought the set was doing okay but some of these newer sets have quite a few cards at the $40+.
Japanese 151 was print to demand, so they will print it as long as the printer is rolling and people want it, it will continue. The Japanese 25th anniversary was the same with one available per household in Japan. It wouldn’t surprise me if after their printing factory expansion and adding additional machines towards the end of swsh… I’m saying they may have enough to print massively once and be done with some allocated to storage.
Celebrations I feel will drastically rise in value after a year or more, not only is it the most recent reiteration of the OG Charizard and only reprint of the gold star umbreon, but the 30th anniversary will bump it up just like generations was by celebrations. It is surprising that it hasn’t increased more, but I’m not too upset as it has allowed me time to invest more.

Honestly, I don't see how 151 doesn't get a reprint. Everywhere it's still selling strongly. Hopefully it fares better than celebrations in the long run, cuz that set hasn't done anything but drop in the last year.

I get what you're saying but prices are basically stagnant because the hype train hasn't returned as of yet.
The money lane is going toward other things. For example, to my surprise PE has sold out on PC.
Like I'm mind blown, how is this even possible. Who pays MSRP for a set rhats almost for sure to be reprinted.
Where I’m at you can go into any store and buy 151 at retail. Every now and then even booster bundles. It’s pretty easy to find online retail as well. And ofcoarse they will reprint it. Pokémon is in the business of making money. Prices basically are meaningless until the era comes to an end. Look at sword and shield. Don’t buy sealed pokemon in its current era for more than retail, there will be plenty for everyone. S&V sets will be reprinted for atleast a year or 2 multiple times per set. Be patient 😁
I think the 2 sets with no reprints will be Paldea and obsidian

Barely any of these graphs you’re showing have any significant decline for the raw cards. Don’t get this one. Set is as stable as we’ve seen in a long time.
Follow the trend and you see this set is not going anywhere and down..och..no more like yeah

I hope not with 151 I rather they just say fuxk it, and concentrate on their other content. I want the team rocket revisit to be the main focus.

151 will get reprint and the sealed product will be fine.and in 5 years it will be fomo..the top 3 pokemon are great..
