As someone who actually watched the trial - your coverage was awful. So many key points in the trial weren’t even mentioned. The dozen valid reasons why one would believe there is a conspiracy. The fact that there’s an ongoing Federal Investigation into the DA’s office and the State Troopers that were involved. The fact that a proven cover up and conspiracy, by the same players, was just unearthed last week. Look up Sandra Birchmore. Your coverage was elementary, at best. The people you chose to highlight … an ex girlfriend? Vinnie Politan? Yet you don’t interview the person who actually has unearthed evidence over and over again. Honestly, TMZ has delivered more accurate coverage of this case and you have.

I agree. No mention of the defense experts originally hired by the FBI or the fact that even the Commonwealth’s ME wouldn’t state that John OKeefe was conclusively killed by a vehicle. This just makes Karen look like someone with a smart lawyer who came up with a creative theory to create reasonable doubt and makes the people who think she was framed look like sad cat ladies. You’d think from a purely entertainment perspective they’d focus on the conspiracy because that’s the most interesting part of this. I hope Netflix does a better job.

Instead, they went so far as to now we've got people clutching straws, making up tales, and so invested in their position that even after attempting (I'll give them that) to follow the trial, they still cannot separate fact from fiction, nor just see what a few good defense attorneys are trying to plant as reasonable doubt. By the time things are done with her between the trial and civil suits, she could have been out of jail practically, had she just plead guilty. The police were able to reconstruct her entire taillight based on fragments found at the scene. That means she hit something at the scene. She doesn't claim she hit something else at the scene. She doesn't claim she busted the taillight somewhere else.
There was no conspiracy. There was nothing nefarious. There was a woman who was clearly driving drunk who hit her boyfriend with her SUV. I am not saying she did it on purpose, and she might not even remember doing it, but she was asking her friend, "Did I hit him?" That means she at least thought it was a possibility at the time. She was also very angry with him (listen to the phone calls from her afterward), and there might have even been some intent behind it. It's at least possible.
She tested above the legal limit the next day, which means she was blitzed at the time.
This was nothing more than a defense attorney spreading a nonsense theory to mislead the jury and the public so they wouldn't convict his guilty client. The O.J. Simpson attorneys did the same thing.

The cocktail glass John was seen carrying when he left The bar is the clue to KR’s guilt. The cocktail glass was broken outside on the driveway and found with his body, which means she hit him when she was turning around and leaving. Also, he was knocked out of one of his shoes, that’s why 1 shoe was on and the other one was off. All of this evidence on top of the broken tail light indicates Karen Read is guilty of vehicular, manslaughter, and drunk driving. All of those phone calls that she left for him was just her drunk ranting at him and trying to pretend she didn’t just kill him. She stalled because she was drunk and didn’t want to DUI. IMHO 🤔

The other thing that doesn't make sense is that if Karen hit him and he had been out in the cold ALLLL Night long wouldn't he have been dead and frozen stiff? And why would Jen Mccabe search 'hos long to die in cold' unless she knew how long he had been out there? She knew exactly when he was placed out there.
Let's not forget the testimony of the snow plow driver as well who drove by 3 times and didn't see his body lying there. Nor did all the guests who left that evening. 20/20 dropped the ball on this one. They presented as if the only damning evidence showing a cover up was that Proctor said rude things about Karen. So ridiculous. That was just the tip of the iceberg.
I'm surprised they are willing to be on the wrong side of things as all of the corruption the FBI uncovered, in the area in the Sandra Birchmore case.

I had to jump away from a upcoming plow once, even though I was walking at a distance to begin with. It was after sunset, during a snow storm. It still managed to bury me! I wasn't drunk and able to get myself out. Was definitely a scary experience! It would have been one of my first thoughts just like Karen's.

Karen Read is 100% INNOCENT AND WAS FRAMED. If you just watch this half a$$ clip, you won't get it. Watch the trial or at least summaries from various crime podcasts. Those cops/ so called "friends" clearly beat John down inside the house then took moved him outside. Top joke of an "investigator" was buddies with owners of the house and others. NO searching the house, NO separating and interviewing people at party. All bodily injuries were from being beaten, and then he was bit multiple times by house owners dog.....they gave dog away. They wiped their cell phones clean & SIM cards. They completely remodeled the basement (area he was most likely beat up in). I could go on. OH and the judge of trial is known as "Auntie Bev" to various kids of these Ah@les involved. She was a b$tch to the defense.

The comments here remind of why i just don’t trust the average person.
Yall act like you know her or anyone here.
You guys just let trends and other people influence everything you think and do, and then make other lives your lives, not out of compassion, out of this egotistical need to be right, over all else. As though you have any clue what you’re talking about beyond what is shared
It’s like the people who travel to go stand outside the homes of someone that is involved in a case that blew up in the media. Yall go and makes signs and camp outside of the families houses.
It’s so weird and cringe and extra.
It’s not about emotion or compassion. It’s insanity.
Yall never do that sht for the countless monsters arrested every day for abusing and harming children. You can easily find them with a Google search. Just pick a city. Any city.
She could be innocent. She could be guilty.
But this cop hating, hardcore stanning in these comments does her more harm than good.
Because I definitely feel a desire to not like her. And it’s 100% because of yall.

How would it have even been possible to fill out the jury verdict slip if Counts 1 and 3 were not guilty, and then they left Count 2 blank - according to Judge Bev, that would have meant all three counts were not guilty. They weren't decided on Count 2 so that barred them from filling out the slip at all.
