I'm a 63 year old Black woman who was born in 1960 and I have loved Chicago songs since I was a teenager. These White boys have so much soul and their harmony and not to mention their good looks! I still play their music because it takes me back to the best years of my life when the world was still a safe place and when bands actually made GOOD MUSIC! I LOVE CHICAGO SO MUCH ❤! God bless these guys!
You don't sound black. You sound like someone trying to sound like what they think someone black sounds like. We don't talk like that. Especially at 60+. These guys are classic. Just leave it at that whoever you are
fell in love with these song this 2022, this reminds me a lot of my bassist father who just recently passed this year from lung cancer. I miss you even more, pa.
@FLadd2024 Same here. Still have vinyls of their first 5 albums. Seen them live over the years, maybe 5-6 times. Awesome to hear us old farts sign along with the lyrics! Old school here!
I was in college when this came out and immediately loved it. My college sweetheart and I got in a little trouble for playing it too loud with the dorm room door not completely closed, just a warning, lol.
Almost as great as the original. This song is platinum! I grew up in Chicagoland and they rocked the ‘70s. They were every Chicagoan’s favorite band. ❤❤❤❤
I am a 65-year old Colombian woman. I learned English in 1982, but I started liking their music years before. This song is my favorite one (by Peter Cetera, though).❣ I can listen to it 20 times in a row.
Awesome duo,I loved it♥️.Can easily hear how their vocals warmed up as they got deeper in the song. All the members chimed in beautifully. They knocked it out the park!.
As a fan of Chicago for over 45 years, I still love the original group, but the guys who have come in and kept things going, hats off, you are still an amazing band!!!
Jason Scheff has been with the band since '86. 30 years. Twice as long as Cetera if you want to go that route. Peter was awesome but he went solo and did very well. Get over the "new" singer.
Jennifer Puhl exactly, believe it or not I am only sixteen, I would have loved to grow up then, luckly I hav a very musically educated dad that raised me very well
Damn near impossible to hit the notes Cetera abrought to the table. It's unrealistic to expect anyone to be able to sing like they did. It's like journey without Steve Perry just not the same.
Peter Cetera was a member of Chicago since 1967 to 1985. Jason Scheff is the new guy who was a Chicago member since 1985 to 2016. When Peter Cetera left Chicago, he became a solo artist.

Really have little respect for those guys; they fall far short of men of integrity.
Whoa! One of the greater versions of HHTB! Bill sounds incredible! Think I'll go watch the 1:31 part a couple of hundred times now...;-) Once again, thanks or sharing!
Awesome Song, Jason had to fill some big shoes stepping in for Peter Cetera, and the addition of Bill Champlin was a stroke of genius. All around great musician. I liked this iteration of the band.
Jason--and his hair--always make me smile (no pun intended). Glad this video is here, as I saw them for the first time in '92, for my first concert ever, and it was for my 14th birthday (I'd begged to go for years, but my silly parents said I was too young. I think they also hoped I'd grow out of wanting to see them so badly. Obviously, I was the youngest one there). Well, they stated singing this song, and I promptly began crying, and don't remember any of the experience hearing my all time favorite song live for the first time ever. I'd like to think it was performed the same way at Walnut Creek that same year.
Peter y Dany , Laudir como Robert en Grupo Chicago hicieron una armonía musical con las congas y Guitarras 🎸 y la flauta 🪈 en canción hábito difícil de romper
This song wasn't written by any member of Chicago. It was written by Steve Kipner and John Lewis Parker. In 2025 and beyond!
Peter Cetera and Bill Champlin 👌 best version.
This live version is more rock.
💯💯👍👍
Still listening to this 2023 and music today can’t Compete against this
No backing tracks or fillers in this, amazing.

I am a Chicago fan since CTA in 1968. I love the old stuff and the new. The variety and musicianship is second to none.
I agree. Been listening since CTA.

Timeless gold!!! 2024!!!!
❤
Cetera-Champlin is a magical duet.. Champlin-Scheff is a top class duet on their own right too..
In the chorus it sounds like they're singing about Cetera.
The recorded version of this, is probably the best arrangement I HAVE EVER HEARD...OF ANY BAND ....EVER!!!!

Yep!
so you are praising David Foster
40+ down thumbs? wtf are these guys thinking? this is some bad ass singing here !
This is probably my 50th or more times listening to this love it more and more each time Chicago is such iconic band ❤
Chicago is a classic band with excellent musicians and singers for over 50 years now.
They've just found a bunch of talentless twerps.
I will love this band forever.
This is what I call MUSIC!!
WOW! I never thought I’d ever hear a singer that could even remotely emulate Peter Cetera. This is the best I’ve ever heard.
my favorite Chicago line-up post Kath and cetera
This is the best
Hard habit to break. Awesome with The Chicago Band
❤
I have been a fan of "Chicago" since my high school years in the early 1970s
amazing performance jason is great and bill too
singing while doing bass line(not ordinary bass line,a lot of progression happening there) is one of his perks.i salute him grest job 🙂
Classic Chicago brass from 4:20 on - pickup on the trombone, sax and trumpet - as good as it gets.
Rockin' symphonic brass. Jimmy Pankow, baby!
The best version of "Hard Habit To Break," and perfect combo from Jason, Bill and Dawayne. It's absolutely extraordinary....
Jason Scheff was pitchy as hell in this performance. Flat.. Not his best.
@@matthewparker6830 He doesn't sound that pitchy to me. Bill sounds a little pitchy, though.

Saw them in 1992 at Notre Dame Joyce Center... loved it... my first and only concert in my life..

I was a casual fan of Chicago for their whole career. But seeing this song done live cemented my undying devotion since.

This song is a Masterpiece.

I agree. Peter's voice is the signature of this song or songs for CHICAGO
Believe it or not I was burned out on peters voice. He does not need to have the same exact voice , I enjoy just as much. Ok haters 😊
I'm with you on that. Loved Cetera, but Jason great in his own right.

I went to see Chicago and the new guy Jeff Coffey, he has a great voice, but he's a little too high, I don't think anyone can beat cetera

So, many incredibly talented musicians, kept this band alive and kicking ass.
