    listen young kids. Do not attempt this form at all! Arnold had great flextion with his spine and it was beneficial for his gains. Not everyone can perform the exercise that way, just use the proper form until you build enough strength and maybe give that form a try in future years, but never as a beginner.

      Though flexing your thorasic spine isn't completly ideal, it's not dangerous. Flexing in your lumbar spine though... very risky and dangerous.

      Look at photos of him in the present, look how he stands. Rounded lower back because of pain, knees a bit flexed to get back the equilibrium, he herniated that L4 or L5 disc if not both with all his fucked up exercises. So maybe, at that time, with all he took (PED's) and his genetic (foundation like you say) it may have been worth for him and his physique at his prime (that's right the way he rows give an insane stretching tension on the lats that is beneficial for their hypertrophy) but in the end he had to face the truth : training with round lower back always fucks you up

If you are, then you should also know that zeitgeists are generally followed by breakthroughs in those areas of belief. Either way, Bodybuilding DOES involve science, technology, and innovation.
      How have we come to know anything about the body? Well, through science, technology, and innovation. And what is bodybuilding about? Yes, the body. We still don't know everything there is to know in regards to the body and so there are still improvements that can be made regarding the body and muscle growth.
      And absoletion isn't a word.

Bent over rows, T-Bar Rows are not easy to do and the harder an exercise is the more benefits it provides as you master it. Some Machines make fundamental exercises easier and does not provide the same benefit if the body was made to work harder.

    The thing about trying to do exercises like these elite bodybuilders, is everybody is built differently, with various limb lengths, leverages, and levels of flexibility. You performing a row exactly like Arnold may result in you getting hurt, or not getting ideal muscle activation, despite this working well for Arnold

    • @jacobski7216
      @jacobski7216 2 роки тому

      This is how you get ideal muscle activation in all your back muscles, but you have to start with very low weights and slowly work yourself upwards over many training sessions if you've never done these or trained your spine dynamically. Originally rows got their name from the fact that you tried to imitate the same motion you do when rowing a boat, and that is typically always done with a flexed spine which you extend all the way back each time you row.
