Solar Power wasn't bad at all. Lorde wanted to reinvent her sound, the production was excellent, the only problem was it came along at the wrong time. Lorde made it possible for other women singer-songwriters to move into dark places with their songwriting, but Melodrama was a poor seller, and she couldn't continue on that path. While the gamble didn't pay off, she had to gamble.
I am all for artistic growth. As an artist, one has to ask yourself, "Do you believe in what you are singing?" (And ask this question without the producer, agent, and coat-tail draggers in the room.) If the answer is "no", then discard and try again.
When you see artists like Take That come back after 10 years with patience and then you hear these 10 it shows what talent is. Patience come be the greatest comeback song ever made

This isn't the case though. She is essentially a voice. That's it. A lot of people can sing - that doesn't make you special. It's what you're willing to do to get to the top that sets you apart from the normal. What are you willing to do for those that can make or break your career...etc etc etc
While it’s not a bad song, Get It On by Rob and Fab. After the scandal with Milli Vanilli, Rob and Fab decided to release music with their real voices. However, people lost interest in Rob and Fab and the record label they were signed to went bankrupt, increasing Rob’s drug use which ultimately killed him.
I remember when they performed that song on Arsenio; and then afterwards they were sitting with Arsenio and he asked them something along the lines of, “Why did y’all even go through all that? Y’all can sing!”
Justice for Xtina ⚔️⚔️⚔️ not myself is a banger 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Christina's Not Myself Tonight should have been a massive hit though!!! That track is banging
The video reminds me of Madonna’s Erotica.
Totally agree
4:50 Oh, really? Well, that didn’t stop her from collaborating with Lady Gaga in 2013 for a version of LG’s underrated ARTPOP single “Do What U Want.”
Very great song but shadow by controversy
I didn’t like Yummy but the MV is actually really meaningful, it makes commentary about the predatory nature of adults with children in Hollywood and some of Justin’s own experiences
2010 is a year I would never want to go back to, but I would do it all over again if I ever had to. The Bionic album was what I remembered 2010 by. I thought it was a good album. So I'll have to say I'm a tad disappointed to hear that it's on this list. But I guess people can't always agree. No matter how much 2010 gets on my nerves for being an insensitive year to me, I'm still OK with it. 2010, next time be nice.
Musically 2010 was a great year: Ke$ha, Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, Shakira, Lady Gaga just to name a few of them
@@KLAUS-N10i50m I'm sure they'd all be happy to hear that.
Yummy performed well on the charts and it was nominated for a grammy.
And it actually is you got the “young me”, referring to Diddy
It doesn't mean it's good. Even Meghan Trainor has a grammy. I can look at it differently after the Diddy scandal though.
Grammy will award anything & everything to white artists
That’s part of the god damn problem
I'm not even a Christina fan but not myself tonight shouldn't be on this list. Woman's world on the other hand should be on this list twice, it's THAT bad
I actually like solar power. I love listening to it while I drive by the ocean.
New idea: Top 10 Best Comeback Songs Of all Time
I think they did it already.
They’ve done that before. You had stuff like Back in Black, Walk this Way, etc
Disease - Lady Gaga 😀
YO! I looooove solar power 😍😍 that’s a straight jam.
Fergie’s song sounds like 2008. Gave me Beyonce “Diva” vibes. Maybe that’s why people didn’t take to it? It sounded old for the time it was released.
I love X-tina's Not myself tonight!
I actually like that Fergie song😅
Lorde having a hot girl summer is crazy work 😂😂😂
while Bruno and Gaga gave us great song in their comeback, Katy gave us stupid song .... what a waste
A stupid song is acceptable, but an unbearable song is kinda " Hell no !"
Do you mean Bruno and Gaga gave us a boring song? And also Joker 2, what a disaster for Lady Gaga.
@@whatsup7535 Die With A Smile is such a great song. Joker 2 was definitely a hot mess.
@@whatsup7535 Die With A Smile is actually a great song. Joker 2 was definitely a hot mess tho.
@@whatsup7535your opinion that it is a boring song is only your opinion, most people appreciate it.
Joker 2 was not exactly her fault, and she has a new album on the way. She will do fine
Omg Katy finally got her number one. 😂😂
What're you talking about, she has like 10
Where's Megan Trainor on this list?
She hasn't left to warrant a Comeback.
I don't agree that "Not Myself Tonight" and "Solar Power" should be on this list. They are great songs!
Bionic by Xtina remains an incredible album and I'll stand by that until the end, she was definitely sabotaged and dragged for being inspired by Gaga when there is nothing wrong with that.
Not myself tonight I don’t agree with. Christiana still had some hit songs and was in Burlesque after that song came out. Also as much as I don’t like Justin Bieber I wouldn’t call Yummy a worst comeback song. I don’t like him but that song was everywhere.
Man of The Woods, was the album that reminded everyone Justin Timberlake is a white man.
Lol accurate comment. The selfish song I do like though.
He's a Man of the Woods, an 808 Country Boy 🪓🪵🧔🏼♂️
Yummy yummy shouldn't be in this count down . I hear that song everywhere
But that doesn't take the fact that the song is awful
I was the one of the first thousands of people to watch Women’s World premiere and I felt disappointed.
I actually like "Not myself tonight" by Christina. I thought it was different n slept on. I liked "yummy" by Justin too, but did feel it was repetitive because that was the best part of the song. Till this day i could not tell u what the actual lyrics are outside of it lol I was just happy to see him back.
Girl you got that yummy, yummy, yummy, yummy 😋😂 it had a vibe to it
Just the idea of Jennifer Lopez wearing a white dress in her video for "Can't Get Enough" is hilarious.
the song should be called "Cant get enough wedding rings"
😂😂😂 wooow
It's sad at this point
All i can says is luther vandross and whitney Houston can outsing anyone
Of course
Except Mariah in her prime
Not myself tonight is a bop. ❤❤
Why did you bury Gwen like that 😂! And Lisa frank dolphin !? Hilarious
yummy was a smash lol
Yes but we are talking about the quality of song not the sales
MILF $ and LA LOVE by fergie did actually quite well! they were bangers!!
8:05 “….instead they got the musical equivalent of Lisa Frank dolphin art.” 😂 🐬 🌈
No lordes song and album was so good but people don’t like it cause it’s a different departure from her old stuff
People just grew tired of Fegie’s fake chola routine.
You mean Gwen Stefani! Not Fergie lol 🤣 Gwen is still dealing with an identity crisis to this day!😂
@@heatherpierce9123 Gwen never claimed to be 1/28th Mexican & from East LA. 🙄
@@bdiaz6081 LOL. Right?!
Hell no, Not Myself Tonight is a banger! ❤😮
I have never heard Slow clap in my whole life 😂
heeyyy!!! Solar Power was the greatest unwind vibes song picks✨❤️✨❤️
I love Slow Clap and Not Myself Tonight
not myself tonight was a banger
SOLAR POWER??? EXCUSE ME???????
When you see artists like Take That come back after 10 years with patience and then you hear these 10 it shows what talent is.
Patience come be the greatest comeback song ever made
Christina worked THAT SONG!!! I definitely don't agree with that one
Katy Perry’s face on the cover 😭 oh katy
5:35 i use that songs as a funny gag for food. I didn’t really pay attention on who wrote it or if it was popular
Fergie is the best!
