You're sure right smokerlad! I remember Pippa, Michael, Sally, Alf, Ailsa, Fisher, Bobby, Jack, Chloe, Curtis, Shannon, Selina, Steven, Travis, Sam, Kelly, Shane, Angel, Irene and Marilyn. Unfortunately Alf, Irene and Marilyn are the only ones left from those days!
I REALLY want to see more Shannon and Mandy, please! Like when Mandy comes back and Meets Shannon's boyfriend Alex, then Shannon's mean mother , Katherine. There are clips of Shannon and Mandy when Shannon leaves for Paris but I i WISH there was more of Shannon and Mandy.
@@SummerBayJournal in that case any 2000 clips looking for lances 1st return scene as a kid that shocked me said oh my god thats lance smart how is he back then it hit me hard he was sallys half uncle a lovely twist it was so right that made sallys 21st a big episode because you had all of sallys friends there and jack would love to see it again in full as when i taped it in 2000 it had no sound in my itv region so missed the party fun near the end

It was a silly storyline.. and the resolution is disappointing. I bet we never heard his name again. I understand his anger towards his sister, I wish for them to at least share a hug and for him to forgive her. but nope. he just faded..
I don't think the story was silly but I agree the ending certainly was, and in turn that made the whole story feel rather pointless. I think it was actually quite an interesting story with lots of potential. For all these years Ailsa believed she'd saved her family from a violent man, but her brother ended up being abused in foster care anyway. It was also one of the few times the show acknowledges that not all foster parents are saints, touching on the fact that some kids in care suffer horrific abuse. Tony wanting to kill Ailsa was unnecessary sensationalism in what could have been an otherwise touching and interesting story; the ridiculous sudden ending proving this, as they wrote him into a corner almost from the start. You are right, after the final scene in this clip the storyline is never discussed again. We don't even see Ailsa talk it over with Alf or anything.
@@SummerBayJournal I think the character of Ailsa is one of the most interesting characters of the show.. killing her off in 2000 was brutal. loved her relationship with Alf and her friendship with Pippa and Bobby..
@@SummerBayJournal Thanks for video i find it very interseing how in later years Pippa and Ailsa seemed to not be as close anymore and Alisa more closer to Irene then Pippa and Pippa seemed more closer.to Irene then Pippa. I wonder if Judy and Debra had fallen out behind screens!.
Love how they turned someone deciding NOT to kill someone else into some emotional moment 🤣 classic
I know lol, when the music changes to that happy music "Aww he's not gonna kill me this time, how lovely" 😄😄😄😄

Now I know where Alf got the line ‘Hogans Ghost’!
RIP Belinda Emmett (1974-2006).
Oh, snap. I've been waiting for this for a good while
And what did you think?
The quickest storyline and conclusion ever. He was never seen or mentioned again. 😂
I know, very bizarre!
Glory days with Alf, Ailsa and Fisher

God both Ailsa's siblings are crazy
12:22 This scene reminds me of Prisoner, even the music.
Good old Home and Away.
Danny Roberts looks strikingly similar to the actor who played Captain Barton/Trevor Priest in Prisoner.
Turns out Danny Roberts is the father of David Jones Roberts (A.K.A Xavier Austin), the voice is a giveaway.
Interesting. I see the resemblance.
gives a whole new meaning to what is said at 2:44
Please upload more videos!!! :)
Andy Green from Sons and daughters
Yes. I remember Judy Nunn saying she was over the moon they cast Danny as this character as they were really good buddies on Sons and Daughters.
I couldn't think where I say he's face from, suddenly it dawn on me sons and daughters.
