Jig Fishing For SLAB Crappie (Catch & Cook)

Today I went jig fishing for some BIG Alabama crappie. Ive went out about 2-3 times and target crappie over the past two weeks and I think I've definetly been bit by the crappie bug these fish are so much fun to catch & taste even better! Thank y'all for all of the support! #fishemhard

The biggest thing to remember crappie fishing is they are a schooling fish so once you find them keep casting that area till they stop biting lol. Another thing is they are structure oriented so find underwater laydowns to fish.

Oh and on retrieve every so often just twitch the rod slightly with those baits. It causes a little tail action and can create more bites at times. Just a straight retrieve may not get them to bite even if they are in the area

No doubt.... Cole can catch em and the slab queen can really catch nice ones lol. They use crappie magnet the most and I agree those baits catch crappie.
