@@davrocket5304 It's possible, but would be exceptionally rare. I only found one news story about a lithium battery issue in a weather balloon. They do often have a lithium battery inside, so it'd only be an issue if it got punctured, and not all punctures lead to fires. I believe the state of charge also impacts the risk, so by the time the device falls from the sky it'd likely be discharged. Porcupines eat tires
Wow!!!!
amazing channel, amazing storytelling, and videography.
Thanks for keeping it real, Forest. Sorry you had to go thru that.
Fun experience for me: Did a 2 week trip to Hawaii and Alaska with 8 days in Alaska. The last couple days were to be in McCarthy, AK, at Wrangell-St Elias. We had a snafu in our reservation and had to book a cabin for a night and then hike to the Root Glacier, granted mostly on a dirt road. We hiked 15 miles that day and saw plenty of evidence of bears. For an overweight guy who was locked into his job for 25 years, I felt free. Thought of your adventures as we did it.
What island did you visit in Hawaii? 🌴🐬
@@ramblynrocketeer Did 4 days on the Big Island and 2 in Oahu. Did Alaska for 8. These were my last 2 states to get to. I really want to get back to the Big Island...
@@derbagger22 The Big Island is an amazing place! 🌋🏖🌴🌌 Did you go to Mauna Kea to observe the stars & planets? ✨🪐
@@ramblynrocketeer I did. We had near perfect conditions and the shots i got were phenomenal. No one believes i took them, lol
@@derbagger22 Mauna Kea is an experience like no other! 💫

That bushwacking was brutal. The cabin was cool.
1:56 Mr. Forest, what was the intended purpose you had planned when you angled those sticks 45° on the sides of your truck like that?
Same question here as well.
probably rigging some chicken wire to prevent porcupines from eating parts of the vehicle
@Questing Vagabond bears are everywhere
@Questing Vagabond ut what if bears learned how to replace them??
@Lil Boost It's to put up the wire fence around the tires so the porcupines don't chew on them.
When you said "just missing one thing" and reached into the fridge I was expecting you to pull out a beer. But nope! Silly me 😂
Thanks~~~~
