This is why they kept going at each other, if you listen to those concerts where they hadn't done the new album yet (and after really) Eddie has the amps turned up to a point it did nothing to enhance the performance. You don't do that to a guy in his '60s who had your back until Eddie decided to play keyboard muzak wasted on meth.
@@Rubin4749 They had IEM’s, on a stage that big loud amps don’t matter. That’s why they have soundchecks. Dave had just lost his range at this age. Where do you get the shit your talking about?

I have watched many, many, many of these UA-cam videos of Van Halen… EVH has constantly been rock solid with his playing and his singing. You really don’t ever see him miss a note, and is always loyal to the recordings. He is so greatly missed, and his effect on rock music will forever be legendary.

I noticed that DLR didn't even attempt one of his signature kicks way up in the air, over his head... At his age, I don't know if he could lift his leg waist-high. I guess I'll give him a pass, though... I can't do most of the shit I was doing 30 yrs ago!

To me Dave looks more like a hired employee working for Van Halen inc. It's like he is up there doing his thing without getting fired so he can get paid. Like there's no stage chemistry, its all showbiz between him and the rest of the members. The only chemistry is between the family members.

After what they did to MA I would think less of him if HE DID ever play with them. He was literally cut out as a partner of the band, retroactively cut out of his royalties of their largest album 1984, made a hired gun,publicly smeared by ED and then tossed out all together. His BF Hagar is worth 100s of millions and "has room on his stage anytime" so fuck the VH sisters.
