I was born in Pensacola. My whole family is from there. We moved away when I was younger but I loved it. I moved back years later, got married and had a child. We got transferred to Eastern North Carolina. Ended up in Louisiana.

Thank you for the video! New subscriber here. Could you do a video about the rental options, as well as flood zones? I don’t know how far inland to look to not have flooding during heavy rainfall or hurricanes.
Love the area and thinking about retiring there. Will probably go with the Proper, or down the highway, as I'm trying to get the grands and their mom to move nearby, and Pensacola schools are just too poorly ranked. GB is more expensive, but the schools are great.

Wow the prices for homes sure have increased in the city
it's outrageous. 3 bedroom dumps are renting for about 1500 a month and old houses that are flipped are going for about 400,000. It's ridiculous.

Moved from Pace three years ago. Pros are taxes are cheaper and you typically get more land and house for your money. Cons are; it isn’t very diverse, and it’s overcrowded. They are just throwing up houses without building the infrastructure( roads, and schools) to support the amount of people moving in the area. Makes you wonder where all the tax money is going from all these people who have moved into the area. The area had plenty of potential, just the wrong people in charge

Are any of these cities going to be more wheelchair friendly? ADA compliance, public transportation, ubers easily available and so forth

Most people would include Pace and Gulf Breeze in the “Pensacola Area” which is why I included them on the list! I appreciate your support and comment🙏🏽
They aren't a part of Pensacola. Pensacola is in escambia county. Pace and Gulf Breeze are in Santa Rosa county.

Pace is not even in Pensacola. It's a whole different County. Pace and Milton city council is crooked!! Midway is Also in Santa Rosa County... not even IN Pensacola. East Hill the most sough after area then there's EVERYTHING on the outskirts of Pensacola City... the further from downtown the better. Crime is so bad the closer you get to downtown. In other words.. Move to Santa Rosa County and stay in the Rural Areas. The Traffic in the summer is Horrifying in Gulf Breeze, it's highest priced but a Beautiful Proper, I grew up in the Proper but the schools are very discriminating. Decent education though.

Umm, did this guy not hear of Beulah? personally I’d say Beulah would be number 3 easily. Nature Trail, Key Stone etc… and, GB and Pace are not in Pensacola (Escambia county) take away those 2 and Beulah becomes arguably #1.
