As a Florida born and raised Pensacola boy, I moved to Norway 4 years ago and I can't wait to get back there.
Jack!!! Enough about our hidden gem (navy point).. it is amazing to see our little island go from a run down/sleepy community to what is is today. I have always said that if I hit the lottery I would be wanting to stay in my house in NP… I know that sounds silly ..but I know you know exactly what I mean. From an idea of going fishing while standing in my kitchen to reality of heading out in the hobie to the bayou.all in under 10 minutes.. is just amazing. It’s been great having you as a great ambassador for the area!! But enough!!!..people are going to take notice.. jeez!!

Funny intro lol I'm from Washington state. I just enjoy the info and videos.
Nice job on covering a lot of information. We love downtown, North Hill, East Hill and SW Pensacola, but one must keep in mind the flood potential with hurricanes. And, all over Florida property insurance costs have skyrocketed, even if it's still available. Perhaps you can do a video on the financial advantages of moving to coastal Alabama. Would homeowners save BIG on insurance costs and property taxes?

We own a house in crown pointe preserve off 98. Love the area but 98 traffic has grown exponentially over the last 8yrs. That part of town is a bit of a once hidden gem that is growing rapidly. I hope the roads grow with the population.
I would LOVE to live on Via de Luna. Used to deliver pizzas out there back in the day, it was the longest run we did.

We live in Ocean Springs. We are both from Florida unfortunately Pensacola has become unaffordable. We are not happy about it. Al retired from Kessler.
I don’t understand how an area with a median income of $40k has homes selling for over $400k…not realistic.

About ready to retire from Texas and looking for a small piece of land around the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach/Josephine/Perdido Key/Pensacola area to either build a nice pad for a nice RV to live in for a while, or build a nice small metal home. Deed restrictions will probably be an issue. Any ideas?

I love fly fishing the beach so I want to ask if access to the beach is not complicated as in Los Angeles? Cause in Los Angeles takes me hour to find parking spot and then I would have to pay a ticket for not coming on time to move my car. So I can’t really fish in Los Angeles. If you want to pay a parking spot is like buying a new fly rod. Thanks 🙏also I want to know if they have big groceries stores as Costco? Cause I don’t really eat in restaurants everyday. 😊
