Hey - Akshay here. Did a double take when I played yesterday and was astonished to see this today. Some context about the rounds follows. Germany - Didn't look like Berlin to me but I had no idea where otherwise so took a guess halfway across the country in a large-enough city, luckily you didn't get it either. Lithuania - I went the opposite direction from you and ran into a sign showing the mileage to both Minsk and Kaunas, which was really lucky. Costa Rica - I had no idea about the camera. Purely a lucky guess and when I saw the National Museum I thought, "Why not?" Faroe Islands - Didn't think it looked like Iceland or Greenland but forgot about the Faroes and went with Reykjavik. Australia - Saw the bus, same as you Montenegro - Oops. You better believe I felt like an idiot after guessing Bhutan
Lisse is "the tulip capital". They have industrial fields of tulip bulbs planted in colors that are visible from some flights out of the Amsterdam airport.
I think one of the biggest things to me about if you should guess fast or not (as someone who hangs in 95-99 range most of the time) is how obvious it should be to an average player. If its bollard/pole meta, immediately lock in because that one even some good players struggle with. If its a flag or url that any half decent player should get... then maybe poke around.
Great video as usual! really enjoy your content. right in the middle of my finals over here in Italy, so im jealous that you've finished yours! Hope they wen well :)
Movement glitch? Pretty sure it’s just whether you click on the road further or whether you click in the air and thus you take the next frame. That’s how I’ve traversed google streetwise all my life by clicking on the road
I made this video when the glitch was at its worst - even when you clicked on the road as I was doing, your movement was limited to 1 frame rather than jumping far. It's since gotten better, but the jump movement is still very limited compared to how it was before. Pretty much broke GeoGuessr speedrunning for a while
The thing you call "slow movement glitch" is like 75% of my normal speed/distance. How do you move so fast normally? Is it something with my browser/extensions? I've tried searching for an answer but found nothing yet :D
Google recently messed up the movement on street view so that you can't really make large jumps in movement anymore. The normal speed is how it usually should be. If you experienced the same issue over a month ago, then it might also be something to do with your internet speed or computer
@@ChicagoGeographer Hmm yes, it's pretty much the same for me now. But neither my PC or internet should be the problem. It seems like I just can't get that far with one click (maybe like 200m at max?).

Thanks! Overall they went pretty well. Good luck with yours!
I was amazed by how sometimes you look at the image for just 3 seconds and then you know where you are like... Bro... How tf?
"City division tier 1, awesome we'll take it" lol so on point, I have no idea what any of that means
Nice video! Am really happy I did not run into you in duels yet, as I would get absolutely crushed...
I feel like teachers in The U.S. should watch your videos since it seems like we don’t know geography to save our lives here

I love that series
I wasn't planning to continue it sadly but I might bring it back someday
@@ChicagoGeographer If anything you should do one like every 2-3 months
Move the cursor further down when getting the movement glitch, click the road, not sky
you are awesome....)
