Friends was my comfort show during my parent divorce at a young age. I related heavily to Rachel and her endeavors. Gunther was also a great joy to watch. And his jokes were always written so perfectly tailored to his character and I'd be like "that's a Gunther joke". He would make me laugh and all the real world troubles didn't matter. I am forever grateful for the way films and TV connect us. A beacon of joy before I knew how sacred of a thing joy was. We love you Gunther. Rest in peace James Michael Tyler.
