Monica was soo normal. She still had OCD but she was like a maniac in the later seasons.
They overplayed each characters quirks to the extreme in later seasons that it stopped being funny and just became cringey. Especially Joey with how dumb they made him and Monica became so overbearing
Parps yeah i believe the term is “flanderizing” rachel finished the show as the sanest person that’s mostly why she is my favorite character, like I watched real character development and not cartoonising like the other ones.
Agreed. Late seasons Monica and Joey were way too much. Monica was level headed and smart in early episodes . Later she just nagged Chandler to death .
They all got so much weirder. Chandler when he was heavier and ross when he had long hair. Has nothing to do with their appearance that was just when it happened. Phoebe and her rat babies. Ugh.

@@youxarexmyxsunshine Its really a 70's thing, in Disco shows and movies that is where the phrase " get down and boogie" came from. So he was using a phrase, or completed a phrase that was used 20 years earlier, but many people still remembered the 70's, so that is why it was not foreign. Also the reason why it was still remembered because in the 1990's, that was the decade of INFOMERCIALS, and there was a lot of Informercials about music from the 1960's and 1970's, so that is why "get down and boogie" was remembered still, even though it is from 70's.
