One can start off by eyeballing the straighness by putting a 4 foot long sheetrock square or level along the outside of the front tires when the steering wheel is set to perfectly straight (drive forward while wheel is straight). Then look at its relationship to the lower body below door (rocker panels) on both sides and the straight edge should be parallel to the rocker panels. Its a quick way to gauge whether the wheels are toe'd in or out badly. It relies on the wheel being centered and allows for correcting a wheel that is not centered (if car goes straight while steering wheel is looking like it should be taking a right or left turn the wheels could still be true but the steering wheel should go straight when its centered correctly). Using a tape measure gets one close when going from inner tread to inner tread on the front of tires and then the back. Its not perfectly accurate like its shown here because the measurement is to be taken is at the center line of the tire (axle nut) parallel to the ground at the front and back of the front tires (like you'd get with a level at the axle nut) and that measurement has too much engine, etc. in the way to take it.

Good evening,. great videos, I imagine you have been busy with life and have not been able to upload more content. Could you please let me know how that a/c compressor work you did about 5 years ago is holding up?
