My recommendation for any instrument is don’t listen to what anyone tells you, just pick it up see how it feels and if you like how it sounds. Every guitar is different even same models can have different feels/sounds.
Yeah but as a beginner, you don’t know what sounds good, or what you like. That’s why a lot of people want recommendations that explain why one instrument could be better for them
@@officialhugomoreno You do know what sounds good, what sounds good is just a sound you like, you don't need any experience to tell if you prefer 1 sound over another. Figuring out what you like as in feel is a little more complex, and makes recommendations a little more necessary, obviously going to a music store and picking up instruments to get hands experience is a solution, but if you don't know how to play there could be unforseen hangups, and even the act of actually getting into a music store can be a barrier. Basically getting recommendations can be welcome but feel free to disregard them entirely for literally any reason, I for example don't care for the P bass at all.
I always recommend those or Ibanez I started on an Ibanez and stuck with them for a long time before switching to a Fender P bass Some of those squires sound really good especially for the price
Disagree I have a Sire V3 and a Sonic P. The Squier was infinitely better out of the box and half the price. £100 on mods and I'd put it against any MiM P bass.
Get one custom made with a specially designed with a 7 string, headless, multiscale, true temperament version of the famous transtrem that EVH used on occasion in combination with multiscale, true temperament stainless steel frets, body and neck contours based on your body shape, custom made pickups to your exact specs with coil tapping, onboard equalizer knobs like on a bass, and a custom compensated nut that also uses the zeroglide nut system made from elk antler, and, for good measure, a treble bleed circut and a kill switch. put some carbon fiber reinforcement on that and use wood from the forest that Stradivarius got his wood from and you should be good to go. You could throw onboard effects on there too if you want to really be able to do anything on such a guitar
No disrespect to Elderly - a priceless institution - but it's not the first place I'd go to asking for advice about electric basses. Mandolin? Banjo? Absolutely
No disrespect taken at all! While our early roots were in folk, bluegrass, and old-time music, a large part of our staff and repair shop team consists of skilled electric guitarists and bassists. We ensure every electric bass and guitar, no matter the price, receives an expert setup. Thanks for your comment, we hope you'll consider us for your next instrument! 🎸✨

Off topic, but im literally up the street from y'all, and this poped up in my shorts feed!
The algorithm is doing its job! Hope you can stop by soon!
I've been playing for 40 years and recently bought 2. 1 for flats and 1 for rounds. Cheap, quality, j bass nut, decent tone. What's not to love.
It’s a good choice and a good mod platform
That was a nice line too
Nice choice!

Good choice!
That’s a great pic, I play the Jazz bass but both are bedrock they stand alone from Bach to any modern bass
Oooooo great pick. What a cool dude, looks like Rex Brown 🤘
Good Choice 4 Sure
He hadda go all the way to the back of the store to find a bass.
I LOVE my squire P.
Any sire bass is a better option
But cost much more. These are like 190 bucks.

What’s the best guitar for someone with way too much money, like multi millions??
Just buy them all if you have so much
Probably prs private stock
Apparently people don’t understand I was making a joke so they’d show off the most expensive guitar they have in the vault…🙄😂😂
