I never understood how people just filter out everything Tate says because he tells people to workout, not be a coward, etc. but if that’s it, then why not listen to someone like David Goggins instead. Just because Tate says some valid points doesn’t mean you should defend everything about him.

Thank you for pointing out something that should be common sense, I call out this blind loyalty regularly in the comments section of Manosphere channels.
Tate is the worst type of person to idolize and have blind loyalty to, the man has zero morals/integrity and he will skrew you over without even a second thought.

I'm a either left or right. I do think a man should be strong and protect his family when needed, I'd have no problem doing a part time job and staying home the other 4 days of the week. But the utter disrespect is what gets me. Never in a million years would my dad tell my mum to shut up and cook. A family should be a PARTNERship, not a dictatorship. My biological father has a stay at home wife, he respects her, she can work if she wants that, he helps her out at home when he has the time there is nothing bad about that. You have to find a healthy medium not stick to extremes

Unfortunately, those of us who see the need for nuance & who oppose extremism & tribalism from either the Right or the Left (& there is plenty of both, I'm dismayed to report) are a minority now. Acknowledging that one's own side goes or has gone too far into a particular ideology is considered cooperating with evil (because one's own side is ALWAYS "good"), rather than as a wise approach to governing & living in a complex society.

The language he uses, the way he speaks about women, the persona he tries to portray - those things shouldn't be normalized. Doesn't matter whether it's just a bit of craziness, or going bananas and shouting at everything and everyone.

How is that any different to you boxing against a newbie while you guys train? Do you find that disgusting too? Who is in control in that fight you or the newbie ("unprepared journalist")? Or do you exclusively train / compete with masters such as yourself? I don't mean to ask you so many questions. Just wanted to understand why you would use the word disgusting as that is quite a strong word for a situation that would happen all the time in Gyms. I train all sorts of fighting sports too so this is from my observations.
As an example in Judo we partner up with people with different skill levels. I am not going to go all HAM on a first timer. Heck I'll even let them do a throw on me. But even then, I am in control.

      @jessemiller3108 10 місяців тому +5

@@Altimit1417 I do see your point here, disgusting was a pretty strong word, but I do stand by it. It really comes down to one word: Intention. If I was training with a new person they would have the intention of learning, and part of the learning process is being punched in the face and getting bloody noses. Or, in the case of Judo here, getting thrown to the mat. When it comes to the video the journalist had the intention of spectating/observing.
I've trained people, and my coach trains people. We would never make someone that had the intention of observing put gloves on and get punched in the face. Now, am I saying guys shouldn't participate in martial arts and get out of their comfort zone? No. But getting a journalist who had no intention of participating to include himself in something he was, obviously, uncomfortable with doing, in my opinion, goes over the line to "disgusting" territory. Hope that clears up why I have this point of view? Cheers to Judo btw, it can be some pretty powerful stuff
PS: Also, the variety was obviously going to make this a hit piece, so it was pretty silly to put the guy in a position to get a bloody nose (ammunition for documentary).

@@jessemiller3108 yes I am in an agreement with you here. This is a hit piece and the journalist was given a choice. He made it sound way more dramatic than it is, well the BGM or sudden lack thereof did.
I think it's fine for the journalist to fight seeing that he chose to get into the ring.
The thing I am not approved off is the lack of mouthguard and head gear during sparing. I don't know if they had mouth guard when they were in the ring. I didn't see any blood in the doco so this implies that the actual thing was quite vanilla.
Martial arts to the rest of the world is about controling yourself. This is what is taught to me by many of my teachers/coaches and Sensei. When you can control yourself you will control the opponent. It is always about self mastery and never about dominating your opponent.
In the west it is marketed different because y'all don't trust one another. Always worried about being attacked.
Where I grew up it is not 100% safe no where is. But you know with 99.9999% certainty the only way for you to not return home is because you got into an car accident. Rather than being attacked by strangers.

We need to be looking at the psychology behind why people like him get the followers. Maybe it's because heterosexual boys and men are continuing to be treated terribly by current mainstream media, so they find an "alpha male" like him to follow. Instead of learning charity, strength, and heroic qualities while staying humble and kind from, say, Superman or Captain America, which is what I and my generation of nerds learned, the media has shown they hate heterosexual men, so they won't show them as good and protective and important to society. Then heterosexual boys and men find someone else to emulate, and it can be a person who is truly the definition of "toxic masculinity."

"If all it takes for them to follow an evil human trafficker is some trash talking, then they were bad people to begin with".
Oh and a personal "favorite" of mine: "If they weren't the ones being talked about then it shouldn't bother them" because hearing your gender shit talked 24/7 by people who will never know what it is like to be one is perfectly harmless right?/s

That’s basically what he said and clearly that’s what a lot of men hear. If men are taking him literally, this is a problem. The other problem is that there is no one else out there with a similarly masculine message but in a healthy way. The only option is Tate if you want this strong, manly brotherhood. That’s the real problem. They need someone with this masculine message that appeals to men but with less controlling rhetoric and more of a chivalrous attitude. You can be strong and masculine and a “real man” without calling women hoes and bitches and luring them into sex work.

I agree there should be someone that can deliver his message in a better way but that’s the problem, no one cares for what he preaches, society doesn’t care making him the only beacon and instead of canceling him and having someone continue to teach the good things he says they chose to cancel and completely throw away everything good and bad and that’s the problem with todays society that there is no critical thinking just mindless followers

I glad a video was done on this. It seems like conservatives who I primarily enjoy listening too are hypocritically silent on this or seem to brush aside Andrew Tate's bad because he says a few good things that needs to be said.
This is the same method of those on the far left, liberal and Democrats do to justify the actions of their supporters, save them from public scrutiny, or to not get cancelled.
The conservative party calls them out on this. We literally made the word "groomer" trend (Thank God!) because adults were grooming kids minds, but Andrew Tate has admitted to being with one of his main girls, Vivian for six years for the purpose to exploit her for webcam when she was still 15 years of age. He could have still possibly been doing that for his webcam buisness.
Where the outrage from conservatives?, especially mainstream respectable conservatives.
We'll call the left for being silent on men and women who work for the left and benefit finacially at the expense of psychologically and physically hurting people, but many conservatives are silent on Andrew Tate or excuse his allegations and things he's admitted doing on video,
because he's saying the right stuff.
Even in terms of "if a man or women chooses to live that way thats their choice" is something we call pro choicers, transgenders, and supports of harmful trans, race and gender ideologies available everywhere for all ages out for for having a passive aggressive attitude toward issues that are hurting people or brainwashing them.
But when it comes to sex work of all sorts that is widely complacent with human trafficking of men, women and children and those women and children get groomed mentally and grow into and won't admit to being abused and tolerating it, we hypocritically have the same passive aggressive attitude that the far left tends to have which is "If thats how a man or women chooses to live thats their choice."
I use to be a mini fan of Andrew Tate, but from independently searching videos on him not so much articles because they can easily lie.
I see he is a overt narcissist, groomer, human trafficker, and exploiter. If anyone on the left behaved this way and confessed crimes they commit on video. Conservatives would be the one doing videos on it calling them out and calling for arrest, just like we did with Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Hunter Biden and are still doing.
This behavior shouldn't be dismissed because of the strong possibility that some of those women were young and groomed are not their willingly or some actually want to leave, but aren't permitted to leave.

It is a very small percentage of women who have the luxury that Amala speaks of. Such luxury is only true for wives of very rich men who have chefs, cleaners, gardeners for the house and nannies for the children as well as chauffeurs to take the kids to places they need to be. Just because the woman stays home doesn’t mean she doesn’t contribute equally to the marriage and goes off pursuing her hobbies.

Amala is smart enough to know that too. She was just forcing a rare example of a minority to exaggerate how absurd society today is that they shun men for taking care of a woman’s every need so she can do whatever she wants. It was a bad example to make her point because that is far from how things are for most people. Exaggeration makes for a very cheap argument.
Here is why she needs to be careful of using extreme examples like that and making it sound like that is the general truth for everyone: young women might be led to think that marriage is where a man takes care of a woman while she does whatever she wants. This kind of thinking brings on entitled women and gold diggers.
Some men out there will most definitely use Amala’s example and say that a woman is saying that homemakers get to sit at home and do whatever they want while the man takes care of her every need, is that fair? It must be true if a woman is saying that about their own, right?

But his argument about the rape thing:
A lot of rapes are not in the streets where woman are just walking. A lot happen in the homes of vulnerable woman. Whether it’s teenagers getting assaulted by their own guy friends, their uncles or brothers or fathers or step-fathers - usually people who do have more power over them physically and mentally already. Those cases: that woman is no where near responsible for ANY of that especially when it happens in their own homes with men they thought they could obviously trust.
And on another note: So when he says he likes to be in positions of power within his own home where there are numerous woman walking around: if the woman doesn’t want to have sex with him, it doesn’t seem like they could say no and walk away.
Also: him talking about how they shouldn’t put themselves in a position hypothetically if we are talking about the small percentage of rapes via strangers on the streets: fair enough. But then he should’ve taken his own advice and not put himself in the position on social media to be accused of trafficking and rape when he freely talks about him asserting his dominance on woman and making them submissive or getting them into the porn industry, etc. so technically, by his own words, he’s partly responsible for the accusations. You’ve set yourself up Tate, by making these videos and statements online (digital foot print) that will DEFINITELY be used by lawyers to incriminate you. It’s very easy to set him up so he can’t blame it all on the ‘matrix’ when he’s the one who has literally served these lawyers footage of himself being misogynistic and admitting to the accused crimes

Feminism did create “toxic masculinity”, though. Which is another lie that is hurting young men’s perception.

His message is very simple you should exploit everyone and everything you can get away with exploiting and never look back at the fires you've set along the way because they aren't your problem. Give him money and he will teach you how to create a perfect cocktail of psychological manipulation and intimidation to use as you exploit your way to the top.

Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of women get out on the streets with posters that say "kill all men" and "all men must die" and "men are pigs" etc... And us men don't care. At least I don't care, I'm still waiting on those feminists to actually try to do something but they never do.
