Hey guys. I think they work. I would say that the biggest risk is if a seal goes bad maybe something could leak out. That being said I have no idea if it is liquid or gas on the inside!
@@TwoTravelingTeachersNice video! I see you purchased a 10” thick mattress. Any regrets on your choice? I’m trying to decide between an 8” or 10. Thanks!
Our pleasure! We would like to remind you that the Starlink doesn’t work with heavy tree cover. With partial tree coverage, we had pretty good luck, but it will affect live streaming (like Zoom meetings) and uploading was slow. Starlink works really well when there is an unobstructed view of the sky.
Something we also added was an anti-moisture barrier for under the mattress from amazon too. I had a friend build some 6-inch-high wood boxes to fit on both sides of the bed. These boxes open to store shoes inside and it is also a step to get into the higher mattress. great video.
We just purchased our new *very gently used* 2021 22MLE and looking forward to our first trip in April. We've incorporated some of your suggestions already! One more question: There is a *pantry* space between the dinette and the bathroom which is quite deep when you open the upper door. Was thinking about installing a 2-tier pull-out drawer organizer on bottom and maybe on the mid-shelf. What did you do here - how do you best utilize space and get to the *way back* - too easy to lose things in the back half of this area. THANKS!
Hello, and thank you so much for your comment! We haven’t figured out a perfect solution for those cabinets yet. We found some plastic containers and baskets that fit in the space fairly well, and we try to keep items that we don’t need readily accessible in the back. I know some people have installed sliding shelves inside, and that seems like a great upgrade, but we haven’t tried that yet. We hope you enjoy your 22MLE, and have wonderful adventures!
Thanks for your comment! The weight of the spice racks rests on the valances above the windows, and I used double sided tape to secure it to the wall. Here's a link to the tape if you would like it. amzn.to/49Tnr5x
I was wondering about removing the stationary bed and swapping it out for the murphy bed/bench that Image offers... you would lose the overhead storage but gain more floor space... Also, I want a stackable washer/dryer unit like the LG ThinIQ unit which is only 27" wide to put in place of the deep pantry and lose one dining bench seat... Finally considering turning the dinette/bench 90" toward the window and making a bar with a view / bench setup... PS... How much solar do you have on the roof?
Thanks for your comment! All of the upgrades you mentioned sound interesting; we haven’t done anything that involved. As far as solar, we spend most of our time in parks with full hookups, so we haven’t added any solar to our trailer, although we would definitely consider it in the future! Happy travels!
We are definitely replacing that bathroom faucet. Ugh! Love the back splash in the kitchen too!
Thank you. The faucet is a very easy upgrade and is well worth it.
The bed struts are upside down.
Interesting. I didn’t know there was a right side up. Can you explain what happens when they’re upside down.

@@mikescott7289 Yes, we purchased the 10” medium-plush. I find it a bit firm, but my wife loves it. I guess you can’t please everyone. 😊
Thank y'all for sharing, that starlinx would be perfect for my wife and me because our work consists of using internet for clocking in and out.

These are great! I like your extra shoe holder at the end of your bed too! And your cheerful bedding. 😊
Thanks so much for watching and sharing your comment!
question: how did you attach the wooden spice racks to the wall in the bedroom? Thank you
