I see a airstream next to you. We are deciding what kind of trailer to buy. I like the airstream for 2023. They are expensive but last for generations. Airstreams are a couple's trailer. Twin beds for us. Provides more room and more comfortable without disturbing each other. I like your video and principles of camping. Good senior years.

Be really careful about Airstream. They are living off a reputation made many years ago. Todays models are not the same quality build having been bought by another company. A lot of issues on the road. It's not the same Airstream I grew up knowing.
Great video my advice is plug your camper in the night before to cool the fridge down, then it usually stays cool for about 2-3 hrs on the road. Always works for us till we get to park where we can plug in or use propane.
Really love that floor plan. Great for a couple. We absolutely love camping at state parks and really prefer them over commercial campgrounds. Although there is nothing wrong with the campgrounds, just expensive. We have been at it since before the turn of the century. We currently camp in a Grand Design Transcend 200MK. Last summer was our first experience of a "Grand Design Rally". We had a great time and would recommend going to one if you can, Safe travels and enjoy.
We looked at the rally. It’s next August so we might plan on going to that. The price isn’t bad either! We like state parks because they have trails we can hike on. We plan to do a lot of that next year.
@@unhurrieddays There are many different rallies according to regions. We went to the one in Myrtle Beach S.C.and are hoping to attend the one in Pigeon Forge TN this year. Hey! I'm not sure why your comment was flagged for review but I just found it. I'm excited for you. I looked up that floor plan and it's so cool. Your bathroom shower is like ours. We love it! Also the bathroom space is surprisingly spacious for an RV! How do you like it so far? I'm going to check out your channel!
@@unhurrieddays well the maiden voyage… let’s just say I’m realllllly glad we didn’t go far. A comedy of errors, but we made it through and had a nice short trip! I really like your layout but we needed bunks as we have a preschooler. And for right now the no slide is a pro in our book. I do like the bathroom- it does feel very spacious!
Love seeing videos of this camper, I have wanted this one for a year now. We are going to the rv show again this Jan and will decide to take the plunge or not. Really appreciated your input.
We looked at so many RVs! This has so much open space, even with the slide in and complete access to everything! That’s important when traveling and need to make a stop! We knew we might have to stop and stay the night at Walmart and wanted to be able to sleep in it without the slide if needed. Also, it has the recliner and table that we want. We wanted a separate bedroom but because it’s just the two of us it’s not really necessary. The shower is a great size and works perfectly! I also like the kitchen area where there are two separate work spaces if needed. The only downfall is the bed space between the cabinet and back wall. It’s about 3 feet and makes it harder to make the bed. We have a system where we slide the mattress out a little so we can easily reach the corners of the bed. That’s our solution. we have had visitors and sitting down makes plenty of room for two people on the recliner and a couple on the dinette table. I can’t say enough good things about this layout! We are very happy with it. If there are any extra questions, you might have let me know. We will be happy to tell you what we think.
I like the rubber water drainer.....dish dryer on the side of the sink with the spout for water draining. I have a similar one in my house that is not that great. How do you like yours and where did you find it? I didn't see a link. Thanks for any info.
Our maiden voyage after paying 38k cash for a 2014 Winnebago towable. We get to the campsite and set up and at 3am the entire trailer was flooded, the factory crimp was not placed over the fitting and crimped it to short of the connector. 29cent hose clamp from Napa auto. Then after having a carpet cleaning crew clean and dry, I plug in the coffee maker and "POP" The intire trailer goes black ,back to Micheal hohl rv.2 days later back at the campsite and my wife take a shower and water is running out the bottom, brand new cracked shower pan,3 weeks later we are back at the campsite and things are working and I put the awning out and it will not come back in.Then we found a Crack in a seam and it took on water then the entertainment center caught on fire. Its been a nightmare for us.Thanks for sharing.
@unhurrieddays Goodmorning, well after having the suspension collapse and being completely replaced, the large slideout now is rubbing a hole in the floor while closed and traveling. It's a money 💰 pit.Wishing you all the best and may your traveling be safe a fun.Thank you for sharing.
This is the model we are looking at to replace our Micro Minnie that was totaled. It's nice to see one with some appliances and other items to get an idea of how the trailer looks when outfitted for use. We tend to take extra food but it is mostly canned and other nonperishable stuff that we keep in a bin we load and unload when we head out to camp. For meats, poultry and other perishables we plan for an extra day which allows us some flexibility on what we eat. You mentioned the refrigerator wasn't cold. Yours looks to me to a gas/electric RV fridge. These require about 24 hours of running to come down to temperature. I would always turn ours on the day before we were going to leave. If you already are aware of this I apologize for bringing it up. We like the dish drain behind your sink. It is something we will probably pick up when we get back out and camping.
I have no doubt you’d be pleased with this trailer. It’s so spacious even with the slide in. I love everything about it!!! Soon we’ll be taking a trip for 2-3 months. We’ll have videos on that.
