I think i like the old one better. New one has more power and quieter. Old one has better balance as you want it to point down. Old one has infinite speed adjustment, new one has like 3 or 4 speeds
I’d agree on the balance, angle of use. I use a Stihl battery blower & often get “suck” on clothing at the air intake. That’s also mitigated against on the older version!
I love the variable speed on the older one. Can't count how many times my shirt/pants were blocked from aspiration by the design. I can totally see the open concept be an annoyance on the new model. More CFM is the only interesting part IMO.. probably not enough to switch
Ahhh yes, but I noticed you had to get that blower right down near the surface for it to work effectively. My back would be crippled by the time I did my 1/2 acre property with that! Do you feel it works sufficiently without crouching?
Doesn't matter our 9 amp basically three amp is making everything mileaukee can put out on there m18 fuel line with a 12 amp high output. Look at the circular saws. Straight trashing milwaukee 7 1/4 circular saw on a 12 amp hour high output vs out 60v 3 amp hour lol. If milwaukees new forges come out and can't keep up milwaukee is in deep trouble. Especially when dewalt pushes there flexvolts powerstacked. It's game over for milwaukee.
And it's quite sad milwaukee can't get us off this over a decade ass plateform. Then when they do come out with a bigger line they gonna be so far behind and it's gonna make there 12 volt and 18v systems obsolete. They gonna be stuck revamping a whole line all over agian. Quite sad honestly. There tools are constantly being broke down before 5 years etc.
Thumbs up on yer video wildman, but pass on that insipid looking blower. WTF was the engineer at DeWalt smokin’? 😯 I could give a rat’s, about some stupid digital display, it aint no car! Wow, ridiculous, so to sum up my takes on it, it blows. 😂

I think Dewalt needs to make a nozzle that point down like makita does. Or this one would suck
I prefer the older model Dewalt, the sound is lower and the battery is under the blower which is a better design which all blowers should have.
No. Greenworks makes a 200mph model that's sold at Costco for $199. I think I'm going to go for that one.
You do that skippy
Ahhh, it's actually $299 and it's backpack arrangement, which could have it's pros and cons.
Greenworks is cheap garbage, regardless of performance.
@TheStoneWhisperer No. They have a 800 CFM, 200 MPH hand held for $200
Who does@@whatthewhat11
I like the dewalt dce 100.

2nd gen. Is the way too go. They are basically the same. Got mine on sale for 220.00 with battery.
12ah at 20v is a 4ah at 60v

Reliability of milwaukee isn't all that great honestly. Iv got dewalts that easily surpassed all my milwaukees.
So its a $300 battery and a $99 blower
I dont care about the adjustable power I always use mine at full power anyway.
Sure, but that will spend the battery waaay faster.
Adjust speed for things like beds with mulch as well as not damaging flowers & plants
Any way to run these in reverse or otherwise convert for sucking air? ( for emptying paintball inflatable field )
What better Dewalt gen 3 or ego?

Well...yes, as a matter of fact it does blow! It blows quite well.....hehehehe.
Brah was on crack!
the new one seems to have terrible ergos!
Freaky 😯🤔🙄
Gen 3 needs a longer tube. Can the Gen 2 tube fit on the Gen 3?
