Extended version of Julian Nott's music for Nick Park's short film, A Grand Day Out.

The only song that can surpass the raw motivational power of the Home Depot theme.

It doesn't compare to the sound of sausages sizzling outside a Bunnings though
Hammering jokes aside, genuinely a really nice song.
I finally found it and you know what? All that time searching, was worth it.
Exactly. Gotta get that big band jazz style going on
slow it and add reverb and it will be a perfect eateot song
@garrynewman211 fr I looked for this for a while but all I found was the main theme

splendid, make sure the rocket is orange
Also, don't forget the crackers and the cheese!!
Don't forget the crackers
@@justflynn-and forget the crackers right before lift off 😂
Honestly the best music in Wallace and Gromit. It even surpasses the theme song
Good take, but I personally rank the Train Chase music from The Wrong Trousers as #1.
@@swagathan5 that is also awesome
This music is amazing, and even beats out the “robot dog!” And “techno trousers” theme from the later installments
Let's face it, all the music from the original trilogy is what's most legendary. After that is also great, but just great
The Grand Day Out soundtrack is underrated. I like how compensated the simpler instrumentation with really jaunty and memorable compositions. The "Forgotten the crackers" music sticks out as well. So hilariously utilised.
in september 2020 i had a job working with cement and i listened to this while working
That's awesome, I listen to this when cleaning too
How it feels helping your dad creating a chair
Helping your dad just holding the light
*hammering sounds*
Sounds a bit like "If I Had A Hammer"...
As a Welder, this plays in my head on a daily basis whenever I am at work.
Building any piece of IKEA furniture this song always pops in my head.
It will mate it will
Why can my brain still hear all the sound effects lol
Such a great song
a testament to the work and passion of Julian Nott and Nick Park. The whole construction scene allegedly took Nick over a year to animate
**insert that one scene where wallace hammers rapidly**
Because its so memorable and classic that you can actually remembers the background details.
That is the power of this amazing song.
It also happens to me sometimes.
Reminds me of the time I listened to this on VHS, ah those were good childhood memories. 😁

I remember watching this with my dad when I was around 5 years old, good times.
I remember when I saw this on VHS when we still had our '48 Uniflight. Those were wonderful times.
I remember being curled up in a ball sitting in the front room of my English village house with the fire roaring whilst watching this. Days that will not come again :(
The best music for making anything
100% agree, and tidying up

The perfect song to play when you're hammering a nail into the ground for an hour
Just seeing the image of the VHS box art here is nostalgic to me. I watched this so much as a kid. Thanks for uploading!

This is the only song associated with a meme where it sounds normal without the meme.
Also for a song that only plays probably like once it's crazy it has a perfect loop.

slightly grainy, just imagine how clean a remastered version would be.

The next time i go out to cut firewood, il play this song.
bro how long will this take to put this nail into this board?
On 2x it's an absolute rollercoaster ride
Taken Musk several attempts and all fancy materials to launch a single successful rocket into orbit.
It took Wallace nothing more than his pet, some metal cladded sheets and lots of tea.
When this song is sped up x2 it sounds like racing music from Banjo-Kazooie/DK64
2 times speed is a banger
You're right!
I played this on background of a shooter game called cs go
All i wanna say it became more funny with the song
I love that this has somehow become used in more and more Ttte fan episodes!
I dunno why, but this song is really cool! Like, you can feel it pushing you forward to do things and stuff!
How many times does one man need to hammer a nail until it’s finally in place?
he's hammering several nails in, but is so skilled that *each nail only requires ONE swing to drive it down to the head.*

I say we start a petition to revive this show and get more amazing episodes like this one. PRONTO
It takes years to animate them, and the voice actor of Wallace died.

Weapons: Hammer
Defensive Weapons: Hammer Handle
Magical Weapons: Time Frame Skip Hammer
Additional Weapons: Sheer Strength
Health: As far as the government knows, the amount of health Wallaceius has is dependant on how many hits he lands with his hammer, each hit adding an extra 100 years to his life, he hasn't ever been stopped from hammering since he began. It wouldn't be wrong to assume he is immortal.
Weaknesses: The split frame of time when he isn't hammering something makes him vulnerable to attacks.
