Man, I really wanna see some of the energy weapons next season. Seeing a plasma gun turn someone to goo or a laser rifle turn someone into ash would be a joy to see.
Not to mention Mutants, Behemoths, Brahmin, Deathclaws, Radstags... the show was amazing. They included a shit ton of references which I LOVE. I hope season 2 dives deeper into the world and creatures.

Wish they showed off the 6520 10mm pistol from Fallout 1 & Fallout 2 more. Seemed like they were or thet did and it was cut out.

Weird how in FO4 and F03 its pretty much just a regular assault rifle but in the show its turned into this massive HMG style weapon. Unless its a completely seperate HMG version of the 5.56mm AR ingame. I wish the Knights used Laser Rifles or Miniguns at least tho instead.
@@faded039 energy weapons are rare, unreliable, hard and expensive to maintain, hard to use in power armor, easy to lose and irl hard to animate. The BOS we see are all untrained Initiates and undisciplined Knights. Realistically you wouldn’t see many laser rifles being used. Guns just work.

Most pistols are 9mm (obviously) in the real world so my guess is that 10mm is the science fiction equivalent of a “developed” cartridge
10mm is a real world round. And the pistol he is talking about is in fact the 10mm from fallout 4. The one that functions kind of like a revolver is also a 10mm, but it’s the classic one from fallout 1 and 2.
10mm is supposed to be 10x25mm? Regardless, the fella mispoke as it's clearly a facsimile of the 10mm pistol from fallout. And I kiked the variations too!

yall really cant be happy with anything, this show is without a doubt the best video game adaptation thats ever been made and you guys are upset about people who have probably never played the game mixing up a name for an insignificant hand gun? Dont even get me started on the people commenting about the proportions not being correct or the assault rifle looking stupid, they did a miraculous job of bringing the Fallout universe to live action and of course it will not be 100% perfect at the end of the day this is a hollywood production.

Prop guys did an excellent job. I think the only think I'd point out as a major error was that chalkboard timeline.

The prop is made in a way that was misleading and not how actual people would record a timeline. And that set off all of the fans.
If the prop had been made properly, this never would have happened.

And my headcanon would be that the person who drew chalkboard didn't pay much attention to the drawing because he's also explaining while drawing

The prop masters apparently don't know how timelines work.
If it's the last date and then the timeline ends, then the end of the timeline is that date. Especially when you get to something being destroyed.
Have you, like, never seen a timeline before?
If you want to indicate the timeline didn't end with the last date, you do an arrow into an unknown future. But this one had giant nuke punctuation mark and did not continue. Meaning that it ended in that year. If it didn't end in that year, the nuke would have had its own date.
So basically, the writers F*cked up and are shifting the blame to the prop guys, or the prob guys majorly F*cked up and no one caught it. Those are the only options because that prop was just wrong.

Walton Goggins was perfect but Josh Brolin would have been great as well to play Cooper Howard. Josh should play another Ghoul role in the fallout.
Im probably reading into things to much, but perhaps they’re aware of the reputation the “assault rifle” has and that’s why they put it under the table where it’s out of sight at the start 😂

65 million views of the show in 16 days and looking at the spikes in game play for the series seen on steam, they are accelerating things now but the original forecast was something like 8 or 9 years IIRC.
Todd Howard said it will be years. The team is working on ES6 and releasing that before they start developing Fallout 5.

There are no "iconic weapons" in Fallout games, but there are plenty of weapons that are very distinctive and will definitely pop out from the rest. Why didn't you use them? I saw ZERO energy weapons in action. Zero Power fists. Zero of these weapons: PPK12 Gauss pistol H&K G11 Red Ryder BB gun M72 Gauss rifle H&K CAWS Bozar Vindicator minigun Avenger minigun alien blaster laser pistol plasma pistol solar scorcher pulse pistol Gatling laser plasma rifle OH and Super Sledge and one more time: Power fist.
There are plenty of iconic fallotut weapons whate are you even talking about.
