Love me a speedpaint! I keep saying I'll stop buying minis until everything is painted but then a new kill team box comes out... with your vids I might just stand a chance!
Love this little series on the Nachmund terrain, I just bought the box as an entry to wargaming with my board game group and getting these all painted up nice is priority one! One thing I want to suggest would be a list of the paints you use, I just went through and created a list of paints I liked from what I saw, but it would have been great to see a concise text list I'm sure for anybody who doesn't already have paint. This series rocks! I'll be checking out more of your content for sure!
THANK YOU! I''ve had these terrain pieces laying around for so long from another set and was a bit daunted so really appreciate this! I would LOVE a Our Martyred Lady speed paint too.
Really good Speedpaint. Gonna use youre style definetly. U think, for the top part, with more care on the two coats of wraithbone that may have kept the metal parts in silber? Thoose below the floor. I kinda want them to be 🙈 im wanna use oil or enamel on that too
@@MediocreHobbies Thank you so much for the video. I watch it purely for entertainment. I don't even play GW games anymore but your vids are nice and beginner friendly while still giving ideas for more experience people
@@MediocreHobbies Oh, I do :D Just mostly do TT-RPGs and terrain crafting. Wargame-wise I play Frotgrave and still have my old High Elf army I occasionally move over the field in 8th Ed.
These videos are really helpful, I am new to warhammer and find the most challenging bit the painting (but also the most enjoyable) do you water down some of the paints you are using? especially around the power coils in video 2? would you also recommend Citadel paint over others? I need to look into which paints would give me the best result for this set :)
I’ve recently left working for gamesworkshop after 15 years. So citadel paints are all I know. I’m currently in the process of testing out other paints and making videos on them. I do recommend citadel paints. There fantastic. Easy to learn and easy to use. The blue on the power coil is a contrast paint. So it’s already very fluid. So no I didn’t water it down. But I do think some paints on a wet pallet as i use them.
Thanks for the video!! This blue/green color looks like the color on the package! How did you know it was ‘incubi darkness’? I always check GW website and the color scheme but thats always different.. Thanks again!
Let me know if this helps you get your scenery painted fast!

Oh 100% you could leave the metal underneath. I was just trying copy the box art that is all white. Glad you liked it.
For anyone that does not have some casing foam lying around: A chunk of old kitchen sponge works just as well.
Super helpful thank you so much.
