Audemares Piguet, outshines and outperforms Patek and Rolex! Their Boutiques, are a completely different environment. hospitable and totally polite! Easier to acquire hard to get models, than Rolex or Patek! Great Review!
Lovely watch! Managed to try a few of them on recently and have my name down for the exact model and a 15500 black dial. Attention to detail is amazing, also the code 11:59 prefer the standard dials compared to the new sunburst dials
15500 is the most robust classic Royal Oak, was thinking at some point to trade in watches for the 15202 but it’s fragility pushed me away! The new code 11.59’s are really nice too 🙏

Hello, previous Offshores used to have calibre 3120 in Divers which is inhouse, chrono models longer time used to have 3126/3840, which is movement based on inhouse 3120 with a chrono module on top. Old JL calibre was used before more than 13 years I guess. :)

I personally prefer a 39-41mm case but the new offshore 43 line is still a winner and out of the 5 models I also love the grey dial and strap with the blue chrono . The rose gold looks amazing as well .. the light brown with the black AP logo and light brown strap I also love! It has the shadow of fading black shade into the light brown almost olive green tone, then the black chrono circles and black ceramic make it pop and it’s not a common color but goes well with a lot of soft tones brown ,khaki, army/olive green and black .. I love the one you got as well and feel it can even go well with a custom red strap with the red markers on the chrono function… Glad to know you got it at retail 💪🏻 🔥 🤤

But isn't this situation/event some sort of outlier, meaning to say you either have to know somebody or be of certain status to enter? If that's the case, then I would assume it doesn't apply to normal people like me, whose primary access to buying a watch is either from the grey market or boutique. So, I think my question would be: are there things to do/say at the boutique that would increase the chances of them selling to you? Or does it purely come down to being patient and willing to wait years? Because I think most people are coming from the no connections/no purchase history viewpoint and want to get a luxury watch like AP or Rolex. Nonetheless, congrats on the sick pickup!
Hey Joe, the boutique experience will surely entail years miles waiting list and the grey market unfortunately is the alternative. This show however is for everyone and had been running for over 30 years, I’ve just come to find out about it! Yes I was invited but had no connections whatsoever, I didn’t even know brands would be selling few pieces on first come first serve basis! I saw the queue, battled my way on and walked out with the offshore! That was really it! In this video I wanted to highlight this show to the watch community, that is possible to buy watches at retail prices, it’s still a 50/50 chance but worth the trip in any case. I’m exhibiting next year, feel free to stop by, who knows maybe you would be able to get something!
Dubai watch week is taking place tomorrow but no trade activities. Look out for the Saudi and bahrain one happening next year Nov, that’s where you really want to be

While I respect AP, I never have been able to be excited about he offshore. Glad they downsized things, like IWC pilot watches last year, but the offshore still has something missing with it.

While I respect AP, I never have been able to be excited about he offshore. Glad they downsized things, like IWC pilot watches last year, but the offshore still has something missing with it.
