Man I've never been a pro fighter, I've had a dental gumshield for more years than I care to remember.
I'd have to add, I started in Shotokan, kick boxing, KSW then started Muay Thai.
Thought I wasn't bad until I went to train Muay Thai.
First week we trained on thigh kicks through a body shield, had a bruise length of my thighs, yellow and purple.
Never thought it possible through a body shield.
Muay Thai is a different animal all together.
Absolutely love it
