I just finished having Copilot (preview) help me create a nearly complete and completely functioning Asteroid Clone in Love2D in less than 30 responses. Which is its limit without purchasing the monthly. This might not sound too impressive, but I have never programmed in Loved2D or Lua before, and I only have a basic understanding of C and some forth. Also, no libraries or add-ons were used. No sprites were used either, even though it's more than capable of creating some really good sprite sheets if I wanted. The player's spaceshp, flying saucer, bullets, and asteroids are made with just Love2d's graphic commands. The game starts, and I can the spaceship with both WAD or Up, LEFT, RIGHT keys. Spaceship ship has newton physics, again no libraries or knowledge of Love2d. Bullet collision works and can destroy Astroids and flying saucer, which randomly appears from one of the screen edges flys around randomly firing, then disappears after reaching another screen edge. I can destroy Astroids, and the flying saucer to increase working score. If an asteroid collides with player's spaceship it will split into 2 smaller ones that move faster and so on unto till the 3 type asteroid is destroyed. If player's spaceship collides with flying saucer, its bullet, or an asteroid, than the player loose a ship and is teleported to a differnt part of the screen. If the players loose all their ships the game ends and given the option to press Enter to restart. Again this isn't an exact clone, but its complete enough to play and an be easily fleshed out with sound, and more closer to the original Asteroids by doing it myself, or starting a new Topic with Copilot. I started this project last night, with only a rough design doc that I had copilot create and I just finished it after 29 responses. It was able to create code from nothing and make fixed bugs without me doing more than copying pasting, and replying with error messages when a bug occured.
Is Copilot (preview) better than ChatGPT 3.5 or Gemini (Bard) ?
@muradali1231 With programming, I think so, and maybe web links, but it's so restrictive in what you can talk about that it will without warning kill that conversation and require you to start a new one. Currently, I'm testing the abilities of these types of AI at HuggingChat. They don't seem to have the same restrictions as either ChatGPT or Copilot.
@muradali1231 When it comes to coding. No. I've repeatedly tried getting ChatGPT 3.5 and 4.0 to code a similar Astroids game and couldn't get even close to completion with them, as I had with Copilot (preview).
@@muradali1231 Copilot runs on ChatGPT I believe, due to Microsoft's deal with OpenAI

So this ad convinced me to give the program a try because I’ve been very much into making a icon tent, and I’ve always wanted to make a game with the AI just by typing. This is definitely not that they advertise themselves as that which is very deceptive. They do not have an unsubscribe button once you subscribe I had to contact my bank to get them to stop charging me.
Ok as a total code noob with very little code experience (minus a crap year in high school back in 2020 in computer science) who's always wanted to make video games but never knew how to without coding or visual scripting, this... I hope this goes well... this could help me make my dream game without the headache that is coding as a solo game dev. My fingers are crossed!
Back when first Buildbox released it changed the mobile games industry. The world flooded app stores with new games. Now, it’s about to happen again with Buildbox 4. This….is going to be epic.

Our Buildbox Classic and Buildbox 3 have the capability to export and upload to Google Play. Buildbox 4 is still in its Alpha version and does not have that option at the moment.

Just drop a cube into scene and make it move. Use other cubes to make 50 diff buildings randomly placed. Just that alone is the core of gravity. Running around in a city. Then just add features. Getting in and out of a car wouldn’t be too hard to do. Camera changing is super easy. Then just fill the world with stuff.

@@spider_who2007 you can use health bar type design for police. When you commit crime, add one to that bar….a star…..then x enemies spawn. Two stars make y enemies spawn. As for walk animations that’s all in your fix model settings. What I would do is build what you can first….then note down any things you can’t make. Head to the Bb forums and start asking. How do I animate police walks? How do I make police chase me? People will help….

Guy focuses on making software stable rather than making it fancy by adding words* like AI and all, your tool is buggy as hell. Crashes a lot on the windows platform. Please make it stable It can't even handle a little load. Stop upgrading or adding fancy features and focus on making it stable! Thanks!
