In 2013, I lived in Newington nearby Strathfield, so I always visit Strathfield station to go to CBD. There was really nice station because all of cityrail train stop at there. I've never been late thanks to Strathfield station. When I finished my work at city, I came back to Strathfield and often take Korean food in restaurant on main street and shop Korean products at Strathfield plaza. Thank you so much for reminding me good memories.
You're welcome! Thanks for sharing your story and thanks for watching 🙏😊

Enjoyed the video. Thanks
I lived in Strathfield between 1995 and 2008... When I go back to Sydney, most likely will move back to this suburb. Lots of memories, shopping and hanging around with mum, the Kurdish kebab shop and the sushi bar in the Plaza.. John.. RIP.. Of course Danny Lim =) The works... Miss it heaps.
Lived here in 2000, on lyons Street. Huge changes to that Street, but square and Blvd, still look the same. Wonderful neighbours in Tony and Janet, Tony from Palestine. Loved it there. Would move back in a heartbeat. Could do with a pub or two though
Me too but dont remember street name

I used to live in Wentworth road. Just the other side of the station. So happy to watch it back. Remembering those streets. Shopping in the woolies and enjoying cafe and ciggrates with gossips every afternoon. Thank you so much

wow we want to go some day
thank you for posting this walk around Strathfield .
I grew up in Homebush so I often went to Strathfield. My dentist was there on what was the old Strathfield Square. Brought back many memories, including the visits to my dentist!
One suggestion, if i may. Your pans could be much slower. Our eyes can adjust, called accommodation, as we move our field of view but not when seen through a camera lens, which makes it somewhat unpleasant as the camera pans too quickly, causing some discomfort. But your videography is superior to most vloggers on UA-cam, especially the long steady takes. Really enjoy your channel. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for your suggestion and sharing your story. I am glad to hear that this video brings back many memories. Thank you 🙏😊
Still living at Strathfield since almost 3 years now

Seriously? No one wearing mask !
I saw a lot of people wearing masks.
@@glenemma1 I'm glad to hear that. I know Australia is safe place compared to many other countries at the moment but still , wearing mask is a must in this corona pendemic over the world
@@jisookim5847 What part of the world are you from?
@@glenemma1 I'm currently back in south Korea but Australia is my second home so I'm going back there soon
@@jisookim5847 great...have a safe journey.
Where are the masks??
We would wear them if we needed them. Because there are no cases in Sydney, no mandatory mask wearing is required, but you’ll definitely spot more masks inside shopping centres or as soon as there is 1 case!
@@jessicazheng19 I would like to agree with you, but It is very naive for the state Government to think that there is not community transmission. It could be mild in some, severe in others, remember it takes only one person to pass this on to an exponential amount of people. The summer weather does mask a lot of what we perceive as safe weather, but the reality is there has been a reduction of influenza as an example because of the lock down measures, so therefore has seen a reduction in influenza. This has been noted by epidemiologists and doctors alike.
No more wear 😷
