I am making this scarf, with matching beanie hat, and fingerless gloves, as I watch this! Thank you! And God bless you in all your endeavors! Oh....the Half Double Stitch is the easiest stitch....I use it a lot for accent between rows. And it goes great with many unique stitches.
I want to thank you I've tried many scarf patterns and this one's coming out beautifully. I just love it so thank you for doing taking the time to do the video
Loved this video, I. Love to crochet. And started the scarf...very easy to follow....I'm crocheting a big bag. And donating for the cancer hospital in manhattan, ..they love nice warm scarves. And hats. For holidays.
This scarf pattern is indeed very easy to follow. I completed my very first EVER crochet project following your instructions. The scarf came out so nice. Thank you! Happy Holidays!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I'm a beginner crochet person and as such have found some "beginner" projects complicated and difficult to follow. This was extremely easy and I'm finally making something! 😁 thank you!
My grandmother taught me a trick for cutting tassels straight that works every time. You only need 2 pieces of heavy cardboard and some tape. After attaching the tassels lay your scarf on a flat surface put one piece of card board at least 3 inches wider than the scarf and the the length you want your tassels underneath them snug to the attachment site. Put the second cardboard on top, cut this piece just a bit wider than scarf but same length as desired tassel legnth. Tape the top board to bottom board, move the whole shebang to the edge of the flat surface (table) so that the excess fringe hangs over the edge and your tassel sandwich is resting securely on the table. With a very sharp scissors cut! Remove boards... And you should have nice straight tassels!
Hello! This is a great stitch to do while watching a TV or to work on over lunch. I usually don’t put fringe on my scarves as I usually catch them in my zipper! Will be making a baby blanket with this lovely stitch! Thanks for the video!❤️🧶
I just want to say thanks for sharing this pattern. I have some yarn that I absolutely love except for the fact that I just couldn't find a stitch to use it with, until now. It works beautifully with this pattern. It's plush and soft and your pattern makes it a joy to work with. So Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Please can I ask how many stitches you chained for your scarf in the video - sorry if I missed this in the video . I have started with 36 but I am wondering if it is now too wide as yours looks a better width. I am using a medium weight 4 acrylic yarn. Thanks 🙂

What I love most about this (aside of the beautiful pattern) is how it doesn’t shrink from skipping a stitch as the rows repeat, very nice.
Love this! So easy, and you can change how it looks just by changing hook or yarn size.
That’s a good idea to change the size of the yarn and hook. I will try it, thank you.

Cheers...
