The Moels is amazing. Was one of the lucky ones to get on it during preorder. Looking forward the Betina’s next works. Echo Neutra is in my crosshairs as well. Good that they moved away from the Bell&Ross inspired designs..
Of the various content creators, I think you consistently bring the most creative watch lists. Most appealing for me in this review are the two Citizens and the Formex.
🚨 PSA On the Formex Essence🚨 this was a watch I wanted forever, and finally pulled the trigger in November. I have already sold it. Just so you know, if you like wearing your watch tighter or more "fitted" to your wrist, the Case Suspension System will, when activated, grab your arm hairs and pull them. I took a $700 loss because it was too uncomfortable and no one mentions this issue outside of a few forums. And the bracelet has a Butterfly clasp with no microadjust: just a weird diver's extension. So if you buy the Essence, just know that.
@ exactly. If it had a normal clasp it would be way more tolerable. And people telling me "oh, you just wear it too tight" is CRAZY lol. Watches should be able to be snug on the wrist and still comfortable. Just a hugely disappointing watch for me.
I have the Rivanera. Done! Black dial version, btw. FYI, if you're looking for aftermarket straps for it, keep in mind the space within the lugs is tight. It's a very thin watch already, so you don't want to put on anything too thick. It won't look right. Try to find straps that are about the same thickness (or thinness) as the ones included of about 2.7-2.8mm max.
That Citizen Suratto is pretty amazing, only 5mm thick! I am not 100% into the dial/hand design though, hope they release some other options in that same case.
That entire TIMEX Expedition lineup is pretty impressive. I like very much the direction that TIMEX is headed however they should be careful with their pricing.
Great video! I've been an admirer of the Formex Essence since it was released; it's innovative, unique, and offers a lot for the price. I saw it at a Windup show and it's really nice. You may have tipped the balance!
Hey Chris, liked your review of CW 12. Curious on your thoughts on a limited watch I pulled trigger on before close of run, Maen Manhattan 40 Jade dial. I thought it was a nicer and more unique version of the VC2215 than the 12 plus I got confirmation from Maen my order is a single digit number of the run.
I think something people associate with a nice watch is weight. Those titanium watches look great but they feel like toys when you hold them because they have no weight at all.
You and I both Something you just need to get used to, I guess. Titanium offers more or less the same strength as stainless steel, but half the weight.
Count me in the "prefer a heavier watch" category. I'm not talking about 50mm Invicta heavy, but something with some mass to it. I've owned titanium watches and although they were very well made and looked great, tit felt like I was wearing a swatch. Not for me.
I have the Tissot PR516 reissue in black. It's a great everyday watch, and the bracelet is really nice. I paid around $550 for it. It does suck that the bezel is fixed, but it does look great.
@@AMAMBT that's very cool!! The new one has a sapphire crystal over the dial but a mineral bezel. That's why Chris said the bezel will scratch but the dial won't.
The Möels is just incredible. Enormous value for the price. The Rivanera is incredible but I own several tank/carrée watches already. Decisions! Also, a better value than on first glance due to quality of materials and thinness, and my other Echo/Neutra is so beautiful and high quality, that it justifies it alone.
Citizen Suratto 0:53
Tissot Seastar 1:52
Citizen Zenshin 3:11
Formex Essence 4:28
Bulova Oceanographer 6:14
Timex Expedition North GMT 7:25
Christopher Ward Twelve 8:40
Tissot PR516 9:57
Longines Ultrachron 11:10
Möels damn you fine 12:47
Echo/neutra Rivanera 14:14

I bought the Echo Neutra Rivanera with the grey dial. It’s an amazing watch. Beautiful, accurate, titanium grade 5, great quality.
Of the various content creators, I think you consistently bring the most creative watch lists. Most appealing for me in this review are the two Citizens and the Formex.
That echo/neutra is a work of art, it looks heavenly

Its even more annoying when they could just use the clasp from the Reef.
@ exactly. If it had a normal clasp it would be way more tolerable. And people telling me "oh, you just wear it too tight" is CRAZY lol. Watches should be able to be snug on the wrist and still comfortable. Just a hugely disappointing watch for me.
The suspension case is concerning to me as well like how does one clean it if gunk gets in between the case?
@ that is another concern. Although I obviously didn't have the watch long enough to say lol.
I’ve never experienced the issue you described with my Essence. Formex has a lengthy return window. Why not return it for a refund?

I got the Expedition North Titanium Automatic NON-GMT, and I love it. Very much a great field watch.

Nice selection of brands covered. Good video. Well done. 👍
Love the Tissot 516. Has some 62 MAS vibes.

👍👍👍 Nice Watch and Elegant Watch with Best material Super Titanium introduce by Watch Expert + Watch Chris 👍👍👍
I'm excited about the mido ocean star 39. They replaced the powermatic 80 with the movement used in longines (to my understanding).
Always love your videos! But FYI, a few of the affiliate links aren't working.
What is the Citizen model , please? Thank you
nice breguet hands on that last tanky one
The Echo/Neutra and the Timex GMT are the most awesome watches in this vid! The Design is epic from the Echo. Have a great 2025 Chris!
CW with custom taxes, you end up paying close to 1.5K and 2K for titanium.
I have Formex Essence and I really like it. I also like Longines and I understand the movement but I would get Eterna Super Kontiki 1973 instead.
Love Eternal! I still have my Eternamatic from around 1980, and the thing is worn in, but still is smooth as butter in the movement!

A Casio g-shock weights almost nothing but has more complications than a $300k Patek.
@@bngr_bngryes, but the gshock still feels like a toy compared to a gold patek
Titanium is exactly what I want for that exact reason. Can't stand a heavy lump on my wrist all day

Love this. Unique stuff.
Very nice list young man.
Plenty of fine looking watches.
Thank you.

I want to add a new kid on the Glashütte block:
DUG, Deutsche Uhremanufaktur Glashütte. With their launch of the sub 1K (Euro) watch. Really badass.
Can you please put time stamp on each watch that you are presenting? Thanks
Chris - where do you get the strap for the Ultra-Chron?
12:01 36,000*
@@WahrheitMachtFrei. Haha 😂 didn't notice that... Sorry about that!!
Loved the real Casioak( EFR S108D). Insane value and looks 10 times its price.
Nice grouping review Chris. Thanks.
Great video Chris as always!
Where's the link to the Citizens?
So, no links to those exact watches?
12:37 if the carbon upgrade for the Longines is too expensive, consider the carbon PRX. I have that one on my list.
Or the Sideral!
that Tissot Seastar is so sick, been on my list for a while
That Echo Neutra ❤
Do you know if you can Change the braclett on the eco Drive citizen with the Steel braclet?
I just sold my Seastar 1000 Powermatic haha nah I have Certina and the calibre was old ETA and it was more stable
Möels&Co! 😎
The Longine carbon version has a non rotating bezel according to Hodinkee. A rather bizarre design choice.
Th timex is great. I don't think the lum and strap are all that.
Citizen is the best .
Case suspension 🤦🏻♂️😄
I wish Echo/Neutra would get rid of the / in the logo. I find it really odd
I/kinda/like/it.
i love your vids
They all leave me cold
Stop thinking and just buy
In the first sentence you already debunk the title. Why?
Vivo en España donde de puedo comprar el cirizen eco drive
i have no idea where citizen put solar panel in their eco drive watch. it looks like normal quartz watch.
Interior edge of the watch face rim I believe.
These definitely are yoir selectioms LOL
Seiko is better off 80% of these watches
Curious to see your private watch collection…
