Welding Fixture Table Built from Scraps

- This time on Bigger Jobs Garage I built a budget 4ftx4ft welding table out of scraps I had laying around and about $400 materials. With the prices of these tables skyrocketing, there’s no way I was gonna be able to buy one. So I built my own! And let me tell you, this thing turned out amazing. It’s super heavy duty and will hold up to anything I throw at it. This was a great project to hone my welding and fabrication skills.

I have a welding/fit up table like that but smaller. Also an Amazon YES welding machine that's a Stick/Dry TIG welder. I use to practice welding root passes on pipe, even welding as long as I have, I still need to practice once in a while. The more you practice the better you get.
Practice is definitely key. I’m excited to play with the TIG setting on mine. I haven’t TIG welded in years.
