Welding Fixture Table Built from Scraps
This time on Bigger Jobs Garage I built a budget 4ftx4ft welding table out of scraps I had laying around and about $400 materials. With the prices of these tables skyrocketing, there’s no way I was gonna be able to buy one. So I built my own! And let me tell you, this thing turned out amazing. It’s super heavy duty and will hold up to anything I throw at it. This was a great project to hone my welding and fabrication skills.

1983 SQUARE BODY FROM OLD FARM TRUCK TO NEW SHOP TRUCK

This time on BJG Grandpa’s old farm truck gets a full makeover! I got the truck all cleaned up inside and out, shined up the paint, tuned up the old engine, and slammed the truck to the ground. This build was an absolute blast and I’m super happy with the outcome!

This time on Bigger Jobs Garage we are repairing some front end frame damage on our 1968 C10 Rat rod pickup. I also installed a complete front suspension from a 1972 C10 to replace the completely wiped out factory stuff. Then I upgraded to 2 inch drop spindles, drop springs, and disc brakes. I had an 85 Silverado. White roof and rockers with gold body. 305 loaded. The only thing i did other than regular maintenance. The fuel pump lobe on the cam went. They were famous for that. Always sound better with a cam.
Only thing wrong is I don’t see my convertible in there somewhere. lol. Joking with you son

I have a welding/fit up table like that but smaller. Also an Amazon YES welding machine that's a Stick/Dry TIG welder. I use to practice welding root passes on pipe, even welding as long as I have, I still need to practice once in a while. The more you practice the better you get.
Practice is definitely key. I’m excited to play with the TIG setting on mine. I haven’t TIG welded in years.

Have a parts list you can put in description? Wanting to do this to mine. 2" drop spindles? What size springs?
So I ordered the spindles and flip kit from Amazon. They are currently unavailable or I would share the link. But I found other options depending on your rotor size. The spindles were 2.5in of drop. I got the springs from a buddy, they were also 2.5in of drop. The flip kit was 5in of drop and I made sure to order one with all the hardware supplied. The shocks are Belltech #9148 drop shocks. Looking good , please be more aware of your dogs safety as you are your own. She is very interested in what you are doing and multiple times while using the grinder she was in direct line of fire of the grinder discharge. Her eyes and hearing are even more sensitive than yours, she is not the slightest aware of what you are doing or the possible safety hazards. Not to mention Vet bills are very effective at emptying wallets very fast.
Safety is very important to me. I always wear eye protection and wear ear protection when exposed for long periods of time. As for Rosa she is a young pup that is still learning. So sometimes she is just a little too curious. That’s why she was only in the video briefly. Thank you for your concern and thank you for viewing! I used Rustoleum Farm implement primer and paint. You can find it in a variety of different colors on Amazon, Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc. I got pretty creative with the application process and will be going into more detail on the next episode. Thanks for viewing.

The plan is not to paint it. After doing some rust repair in the floors and rockers I just wanna clear coat over the patina.
