I’m a system, it’s nice to see TikTok compilations like this, even if a majority of people claiming to be Systems are not diagnosed, I am diagnosed and don’t fake claim
To be fair, lots of people won’t have the privilege to get diagnosed throughout their lifetime, whether itd be medical bills or not finding a good doctor. Self diagnoses also works! Just instead of saying “i have DID” they can say “i think I have DID, its a self diagnosis” it doesnt mean they’re faking. I feel like people should still be allowed to share their personal experiences despite not having privileges! I get why you’re upset but not everyone who doesn’t have a diagnosis is spreading misinformation :)
Usually in DID the personas don't know of each other and have no intrest to find out. Doing sketchbooks shows an high amount of creaticity on your side, witch is an amazing talent. If you do face emotional distress please talk to a councler or teacher that you like. There are many reasons of this Feelings. Ppl with DID are often the last ones to know about it. There are many issuese ppl face in life and there are many serious diagnoses. Only with the right Diagnose can be found the right treatment.
I am worried about that last person driving. If they think there’s a chance that they could switch to an alter that can’t drive while driving, then they shouldn’t be driving.

If you do have DID, than telling your friends will not be a good Idea. If you did just recently go through diagnoses with a therapist, than I am sure they would agree with me. Why? Bcs hiding is main part of the desease. First comes longtime therapy, than including some relatives. And definatly not all your friends immidiatly.....

my friend recently told me that they are actually the host of a whole system of alters so I'm here to learn even more than I already knew about DID :) (I was fascinated with DID and other mental illnesses so it was a hyper fixation of mine for a while and still is a interest of mine. I want to be a therapist and open my own office in a few years :))

I like the fact that some of you in the reply section tell the reader who in the system posted what instead of _just_ posting a comment. It's a small thing, but I think it's kinda sweet. It's like if you live with multiple people in the same house and leave notes around. That's kinda what DID is like tbh. Multiple people in the same house (with the house being the body) with some arguments and complications here and there.
Thank you for doing my suggestion! I am really interested in people with DID and I think it's pretty cool (even though it can be painful or irritating to have at times for people with the disorder. D.i.D itself is super rare. Beeing a Teenager with problems is normal. If you think you have a mental disorder, please talk to a teacher and try to see a therapist. Be openminded for professional opinon. For example, a Borderline Personality disorder is very often seen and starts to show in teenageyears. But those are real diagnoses, that should be only done with a real doctor.

I myself have been questioning that i might be a system for quite some time now! I have done lots of resesech upon D.I.D/OSDD and hope to find the courage one day to tell my parents! Currently we have counted 7-8 people within our system!! (Well we are a Questioning System)

Tourettes is neurological; therefore, if one alter has tourretes, all of them do. As much as it doesn't feel like it, we all still share one actual brain.
You do realize that faking a serious mental disorder isn’t a cute silly thing right? People’s lives are ruined by this. People who had dreams of becoming a football player just have their lives shatter. They didn’t choose to have a silly quirky little dream smp character that controls them.
