👍 Well done. Motix makes an adapter that screws into the little drain plug on the filter housing. It has a little hose attached so that you could drain the oil into the drain pan without a mess.
Good job but you mentioned that sometimes the entire oil filter cap comes off when you try to remove the oil filter drainbolt. That happens if the two parts are not torqued correctly. The drainbolt on the oil filter should only be half as tight as the oil filter housing cap. 18 ft.lbs. & 9 ft.lbs. respectively. That extendable ratchet is perfect for the job. Overall good job and a thumbs up.
Great video. Is drain plug gasket same as crush washer, are both drain plug gasket and crush washer available at any auto parts store or would i need to purchase it from the dealer?
I have NEVER replaced that crush washer, yet I have changed the oil 20+ times by now. Just let it stick to the pan, and tighten the drain plug, it won't leak, trust me on that.

Where did you get the extension wrench at?
Good video
I have a question . What are you using the 0W-20 for and not the dedicated 5W-30 ??
The owners manual for the 2013 model says to use 0W-20. I think the 2007-11 Camry V6 used 5W-30.
@@IRWAutomotive it’s the same engine. 5w-30 is good for easy and heavy driving. 0w-20 is for light and moderate driving

They definitely do, I’ve had it happen.
is this car reliable?
One of those most reliable, especially with the 2gr…
As a mfer!
nice, but remove the drain plug, drain, and replace immediately so as to not forget and make a mess. Thanks
Toyota doesn't make oil or filters.
