Wanted to let you know you are the best teacher on UA-cam in my opinion. I've been playing for 3 years now first two songs I learned from you were horse With No Name and Dust in the Wind. You're an awesome teacher thanks!!
I'm a beginning guitar player, still learning cords. I've probably brushed through hundreds of online teachers. You are by far , hands down the most instructive , patient, and technical teacher without becoming to confusing for beginners. I can't thank you monetarily yet. But you certainly deserve it. Thanks for all your help!!!
Love how you say puting in the effort to learning the chord changes isn't just learning them for this song but a million others. So true. Great lesson. Thank you.
I had to write you just to tell you first thank you for the lesson but most of just to tell you what a gentle way you have about you. I wish there were more people like you were you can see the light they give off to others. Thank you the lesson helped my day but the way you have about you made my day.
There are so many great guitar teachers on UA-cam. I truly think you are the most thorough without making the lesson too complicated. Plus, you have the best Taylor! Thank you for the lessons.
Hey Shane, I've been on and off with guitar for longer than I care to admit. I've been dedicated though, since retiring. You just taught me 3 songs in two evenings! Your positive, frenetic energy, is infectious!! Wish I could cuff you to a twelve string, and pick your brain! Thanks so much!
Another fantastic lesson Shane! That song & "Here Comes The Sun" are two of the greatest Beatles songs IMHO! Both written by George of course! Happy New Year & am looking forward to what you have in store for us in 2023! Be well.... 👍👍🎸🎸
Thanks again for another great lesson! It keeps me motivated to keep learning new songs. I also appreciate the solo lesson. I’ve been playing for over 50 years, so always love new material.
Hello my friend, Thank you for another excellent tutorial. I’m picking this up quickly now. Your guitar pick position was a huge improvement in my control and ability to pick the string before strumming. After just a couple play throughs I pretty much have this song , a classic George Harrison song I’ve always loved ❤. Thank you SO MUCH!!!
Hi Shane. I can tell you are an awesome person and teacher. When I first started learning guitar, I wish I kept a journal of every song I learned and not let it fade away.
Shane, I’ve watched most all of your videos but this is the one that finally convinced me to buy the Aeros looper. Just ordered today with the discount- better deal than a used one at all the other online sites. Can’t wait to try it with this one. Keep up the amazing work.
Glad to hear it Daniel - keep at it. Good to have a couple of projects on the go at one time I find...somehow working on something else can help the project you've been focusing on. I love that. Best to you, Shane
Wow, I've had this one on my wish list for a long time. The Clapton solo makes Guitar Weep seem impossible. But the rhythm and vocals sounds fantastic by itself. Great lesson Shane.
Thank you Ray and you make a really great point here....the song absolutely stands alone without the muscularity of the whole band...that is an important element to great songwriting. Cheers, Shane
On this video, this is the best angle to show on your lessons to actually see the fingerings of the chords.I can actually learn more from this view... Thank you for your excellent guitar lessons. ..
One of the best tutorials that I have seen for this song. You explain everything so much clearer, especially how to use the Blues scale for improvising over this song. It was like a light bulb moment for me. Thanks.
Beautiful song, like you said, great campfire song. Can’t wait to dig in but not for a few months. Long story short, carpal tunnel issues still acting up so I’m taking a bit of a break while I’m down south for the winter but hope to get back at it come April. But love watching the videos so please keep ‘em coming. Take care and thanks again Shane.
What a superb teacher you are Shane, very easy to follow and understand. I love your videos and always recommend you to all my guitar loving friends. Thank you 🙏

Because that's the way you come across . You're the best teacher I've ever seen or known ! I was able to play Harvest Moon , least I thought I knew .Thanks to you I now play it right !! I can't thank you enough . This one I'll learn also . THANKS KEN.
A big thank you Ken and your lovely wife - so encouraging to read a comment like yours. I appreciate you being here and am very happy indeed that you enjoy. My best to you in 2023! Shane
Aloha Shane! Great lesson, one of my favorites! I have been playing for a few years now and my wife had gotten me a Beat Buddy last year for Christmas. Love it but it certainly makes me realize just how out of rhythm I actually am. Can't tell you how much I (and I am sure many others) appreciate your instruction and letting us know the different setting on the Beat Buddy. I have actually had to start back at the basics again to play along with the Beat Buddy in an attempt to get my timing down, I still need work with that. :) I have not gotten the looper as of yet, but it is on my list for this year. :) Mahalo for all of your wonderful lessons!
Thank you so much. Your videos are incredibly helpful. The guidance is throughout the song is great. You explain each section detailing the chord progressions and rhythm allowing me to practice at each section. I feel I can make progress with your help.
Shane , Great song choice, your usual great breakdown giving us a way to approach the song. Then you throw in some challenges with blues scale and how to add some improvisation getting value out of pedal and looper. Fantastic ! Rick
Literally taught me barre chords in one video. That's how you tell the difference between a teacher & a great teacher. & as usual, despite there being thousands of videos on UA-cam, it sounds exactly like the original recording. Also check out his lesson on "Blue on Black", you won't be sorry.

I'm really finding that hearing you play (on acoustic) these originally electric guitar parts clarifies a lot for me. As you opened up the video I was suddenly struck with the idea that Zeppelin's "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" has quite a similar descending bass pattern. Great lesson!
