Thank you for the upload, the reason why they have stretch bolts isn’t due to poor quality, it’s so you have a uniformed clamping force on the bolt in places where you need reliable and sealed joints. It’s by design. But they are a one time use and your meant to buy some new stretch bolts, don’t put in any other bolt except stretch bolts

I say this guy is pretty good at what he does. I’m doing research currently, because I want to do some work on my 2019 Ninja ZX6R (636) I’m after a thinner head gasket for higher compression, and also I want to have a cam re-grind performed on my OEM cams. I’ve got a 140WHP goal currently. Anyways, thanks for the video. It is helpful.

The only thing I would add is if you have the motor out mark the inside if the crankcase in relation to the mark outside since you won't be able to see these marks with the motor installed. Amazing how people can build a machine this intricate but no one says hey lets mark the inside of the crankcase or to even machine the marks instead of a marker blob. Thank you for the video bro bro.

Maybe a dumb question but do you need to take out the engine from frame to do this?

That new chain should wake up that motor once installed
Stretched way too much losing lots of timing and power for sure
Should rip once together best of luck on the build nice bike

    Hi guys,
Got a question... it took me a while though to get the right tension but eventually did it, no more strange noise engine seems to be running smoothly, fuel and consumption is down...
But there is an issue though! When pushing it temperature goes up a little below the red line, fan kicks in big time and engine stops!
Someone told me that it will take up to a week for the engine to adjust to the cam chain’s change, to simply let it cool off a little and within a week time check the oil filter and change the oil again and the temperature issue should go away?
    Is that true?

I'm not really sure. My guess would be whatever you local shop hours were and probably would take around 2.5 hours to do. Just a guess. It's A lot easier and cheaper to do it yourself.

Chains dont stretch, the pins and barrels wear, accounting for the extra length.
