Never let me go was such an interesting read for me, the more I think about it, I feel like the more I like it. Happy reading Mark💕 Ps. Please never visit my home, I would hate to have my books stolen hahaha 😂
Love this. I used to do the same with my dad’s library. Sadly he did care and he would take them back every time he spotted them on my shelves. He died several years ago but his library is still there and now I just help myself - I’m not convinced the rest of my family are literate so they won’t mind. Great video 😊
Evelyn Waugh is a brilliant writer. Sad that you couldn't find Brideshead. It is by far his best. Screwtape Letters is a fun read. My favorite Lewis book, however, is The Great Divorce. Happy reading.
I have never read The Blind Assassin, but I have loved several other books by her. The Screwtape Letters I really disliked, but I can see an importance in reading it just from the impact that book and author have had.
@@BonnieNicoleWrites well at least The Screwtape Letters is short, so even if I don’t like it, it shouldn’t overstay its welcome too long. 😁 I’m looking forward to trying Margaret Atwood, I still think I might try Oryx and Crake first.
I need to start writing reviews in the cover that's funny. Evelyn Waugh is good but in a kind of mean way that is funny but also can be a bit dodgy, Decline and Fall I remember being very personal .
@@AaronReadABook it’s a good practice if you can keep them succinct 😁 I’m pretty curious about Waugh and it’s not a big book so I may well tackle it sooner rather than later.

@@RaynorReadsStuff thanks a million. Having a family library is great. If only I had more shelf space and a bigger baggage allowance. 😁

@@MichaelRomeoTalksBooks if I enjoy Decline and Fall and Screwtape Letters I’ll definitely pick up Brideshead and Great Divorce
