Ooooo That was one of the Best brochantes ever! I could have bought 20 things! What a sweet little cabin to just get away and relax in quiet nature❤❤❤. Looking forward to next Brochante ❤
What a lovely getaway! The cabin looked so cozy and welcoming with all the extra little touches that make a stay special-madeleines, fig jam, fresh eggs, candles. Perfect! I enjoyed the brocante shopping as well, so many wonderful finds. I can’t wait to see the purchases in the next video! 😊
Hi what a nice retreat calm and relaxing just perfect to restore energy also amazing brocante and wonderfull food footage looking forward for next place take care regards to you and fam also kitten tigrette❤️❤️❤️
Jeetje wat een goede kringloop! Wat een hoop moois voor weinig! Wat ik zo zag, had ik ook allemaal meegenomen! En leuke cabin! Kijk weer uit naar de volgende vlog!
The cabin looked absolutely cozy and beautiful. The brochante was a treasure chest full of amazing finds! Love, love the pottery items. I think I would have bought a lot of items as well as the brass candles sticks, copper… I could go on! Looking forward to part two. 😊
What a beautifully organized store. You must have been there for hours! I enjoyed listening to you two speaking in Dutch…good practice for me. Going to NL soon.
I enjoy your video s of all you atr doing in France. If I was younger I would do the same. I love France could you let me know more about your plans for hosting and I would love to visit Many thanks Muriel 😊
@@FrenchCountryLife oh the ones I have I bought at the shop with the cheese inside. A very strong cheese almost like a Corsican casgiu merzu …more greenish than blue. Usually faisselle comes in a plastic container with a strainer.
@@MarianneInmarsiliayes but these were used to make the faisselle cheese at home. Many farming families made that themselves from their cows’ milk. Pretty sure they were used for making faisselle in this region.
@@FrenchCountryLife ahh ok. I thought the ones for faisselle had holes around the bottom to strain out the excess water like for ricotta. But I am not an expert lol …I do enjoy your videos though !
@@FrenchCountryLife at 17:17. The clay pot. I love how you slowly show the things you are seeing. You're the only channel that doesn't make me dizzy at brocantes!

We spoke a lot of Dutch in this video. It was mostly 30 different versions of “look how gorgeous this is”. Will try to put subtitles as best as I can, I don’t always have the time unfortunately. Thanks for your comment!
I’m sorry but I have to type them manually which I don’t always manage to get done. I hope you understand it is not something that is easily fixed. I have a family and businesses to run and I’m doing my best. It doesn’t feel very friendly of you to say “and this is not the first time.” and using exclamation marks in every sentence except the question. Have you thought about that? I don’t owe anyone anything and I’m just trying to share beauty which can be enjoyed even if you can’t follow everything that is being said?
Why would your renovation channel, your lovely talented husband, choose to limit the language to only Dutch? I’m so confused since you profess yourself to be leaders!

The decorative brass firewood tote would be a good addition to your living room fireplace ?🌟
Yes!
That’s a beautiful cabin. … was it by any chance former shipping containers? Very tastefully done 😊
No it was a mobil home that they’ve renovated with so much taste. I loved it! 💜
I love the three sets of rusted balls on the window sill! Are they former bells?
They are used to play a very popular game called “pétanque”. It’s what you see people do in parks and in town squares. Google it to see how it works!
Love your channel....❤ from Australia

Thank you! This cabin is at my friend’s place, near Nevers. You can book it on airbnb, the link is in the video description box.
Super
Those pottery glasses are from a cheese…a strong ewes milk blue cheese quite like Roquefort in terms of taste.
I believe they use them to make faisselle? Which is like a ricotta cheese. But maybe they used them for other cheeses as well?

What were the containers with holes in them for?
It’s for making cheese, called “faisselle”
I know it would take extra time, but it would be wonderful to have a translation of what you are saying when you are speaking French.
